ooc- Hope the post make sense. I had a boost for inspriation kind of awkared though. The lands were lit up with the rays of the sunlight as they shined upon the earth, causing the plateau to reveal the life within them. This was another favorite spot to the raven painted lupine. Lorcan appeared much healthier now, and so much more mature looking since the time of Sinstra’s departure. The ranked beast had grown, and learned from previous mistakes. The thoughts of the present silence occurring across his homelands made him feel unease, and very nerved. Quietly he wondered to himself he thought about whether his alpha would call a pack meeting to discuss the matter. So many things had changed within the months he had been gone, and Lorcan was tired of the pack acting so lifeless. The dark canine knew his place within the hierarchy and all, but he needed to become useful somehow yet it seemed almost impossible because no one was ever around. Lorcan had a half way decent hunt, before napping but now it was time to wake up and go find out if his instincts and the rumors across the salvages were in fact truth. The male stretched out his legs, and felt the muscles and joints crack back into place. A yawn flowed through slightly parted jowls, as he managed to stand starting to feel relived. It’s amazing what resting can do to ones mental and physical statues. The obsidian kissed predator allowed his sceethes to press into the soft earth, as his limbs carried him towards the streams. The Celtic canine was far from pathetic, and somehow he just didn’t care what anyone else thought of him anymore, because he knew he was a cunning and intelligent creature with many useful talents. Lorcan had been having very strange dreams the last few weeks, of something-terrible happening. The male took it as a warning from the gods, and he was trying to prepare himself of something he had no idea about except that something bad may happen. He lowered his maw into the refreshing liquid, and felt the burn and itching leave the back of his throat. Now fully refreshed, he decided he would patrol the borders of Nova Mountain for trespassers. At first he moved rather slowly through the foliage, and he neared the swamp but didn’t step foot in it instead he headed towards the short cut he found weeks ago. His nostrils burned a bit with the scent of the swamp nearby, and he snarled at it. Lorcan was out of the plateau now and just about to cross into the borders of his home. Something unique caught his scent, something familiar yet strange to the black one. Lorcan had never been afraid of anything in his life, but this made his skin tingle. Muscles rippled underneath his pelt, as he strode towards the scent. The male had tried to forget most of his child hood past, when he had first come into contact with " her ‘ the raven female dubbed as Risika. That particular wolfess of beast whatever she was made him cringe at the things she had done right in front of his youthful eyes and then rapped his mother as well. His heritage was extremely strange, unique and his family history was a blood bath full of survival and hate and lots of death, and pure torture. Lorcan did not want to remember those things about his family, because somehow he managed to find a way to control the curse of his family. Ashling and he were the only two able to fully control the hateful side of the blood that runs through their veins. Finnally Lorcan stopped dead in his tracks, and his azure orbs grew wide. Panic surged every part of his body when he saw the mark carved into the tree, the mark of his families’ curse. The blood near it smelt of His great grandfather Azrail, and he recognized the other scent as those who had attacked his entire pack; not once but twice. Somewhere in his small journey to Nova Mountain, he had fallen and knocked himself out. The large lupine shook madly as he started to stand, and pain and fear stung at his eyes and emotions. Snarling he shook the dream from his mind. Lorcan had a massive headache, but he continued forward towards his den not expecting anyone to spot him, since no one ever seemed to be around these days. He stood at the entrance, and before entering his bed chambers he sat for a moment and became lost in his own thoughts. sorry for the long delay in replies...was in hospital recieving surgery so i need time to heal up..sorry I will do it as quick as possible |

I’m afraid this isn’t going to be nearly as long as yours… :)![]() The behavior of the black wolf on the borders of Nova Mountain was odd to say the very least. It appeared he was having some kind of confrontation from a tree — Sinistra perked a brow and frowned uncertainly as he watched from afar. Although he could not place a name to the wolf’s appearance, in the back of his mind the Alpha knew he knew that creature. And in the back of his mind, something told him that the result of their interaction had not been the best nor brightest acquaintance he had ever made. What the hell was his name… When the wolf retreated from his odd spectacle of random snarling and made his way into a densite a ways up the mountain’s slope, the returned Novan shook his head to rid himself of the confusion that had arisen therein. Odd, very odd. If Sin had been out in the wilderness with Calliope and witnessed that scene, he would have suggested that they take a route far around the cavern’s entrance to avoid any confrontation with the perhaps delusional fellow — clearly something bothered him — and it was disappointing now to realize that wasn’t an option. Instead, as a leader of the Valley’s tallest peak, Sinistra felt obligated to investigate further. Whilst he was fairly sure the nameless other was a pack wolf and not trespassing, therefore, on pack lands, his behavior was still odd. In fact, it was almost a tad bit threatening; most wolves in their right minds did not walk around getting pissy at trees for no apparent reason, for instance. If the canine was unstable and posed potential danger to the others here, he needed to be driven away regardless of who he was or what place he held… Rather than retreating to safety, the ebon Alpha moved cautiously towards the den area — keeping still a safe and respectful distance, one simply did not invade other’s private space — sniffing the area thoroughly for clues to what might be wrong with the beast inside the nearby opening. |

ooc- no problem, since I decided to make Lorcan a caregiver for the plot perhaps he may only be mildly sick, and kind of having day night mares most likly the first post was the only one The black male was just not having the best luck these days nor the best day. Lorcan was only inches inside his own chamber, and a yawn merely escaped him and he coughed a bit. Perhpas he was coming down with something , who knew. The wolf had to admit he was feeling rather odd, no where near dilusional just not up to par sort of like a light case of a cold and flu mixed together on top of stress. The canine had no clue as to what it was, but he'd just have to deal with it. Little did he know that he was being watched by the orginal founder, and once again Nova Mountain leader, or that other wolves were coming down sick but more along the lines of extreme. For now he sighed deeply , before his limbs carried him outward from the opening. Azure orbs flashed with the rays as they shone upon the earth, and his own visage glistened within them. How could he have not noticed his own leader, what a fool he had been snapping at the trees and being watched by the one he had made a poor first impression on. Sadly he frowned for a moment, before looking more towards the ebon alpha. Dipping his cranium respectfully, as lobes twitched taking in the sounds around them. Lorcan wanted to meet with Sinstra, and now what a lovely time to be acting insane. Shaking his head, he glanced up and smiled gently. Noble tones were swept through parted jowels, and slipped off his tounge lightly. Sinstra, so the rumours are true perhaps we should throw a party. Welcome back and I hope your travels went well and I apologize if you saw me acting weird at all. I have been feeling rather strange since yesturday afternoon and have heard other saying things similar, but none the less I am concerned. Lorcan was not really sure what else to say right at the moment so he shutup. sorry for the long delay in replies...was in hospital recieving surgery so i need time to heal up..sorry I will do it as quick as possible |

![]() Lorcan. Now he remembered. When the creature stepped forth from its lair into the sunlight, Sinistra craned his head around to give him a quick once-over before turning his entire body to face the other, ears straightening upon his head to take in every word. A party? Why did it figure that the one Novan who actually suggested they ought to have a party was the one Novan he still was unsure what to make of? Was that really just his luck? The idea flabbergasted him just a tad, so he merely cocked an eyebrow appraisingly and said nothing about this suggestion, the “rumors” or his travels in general. Really, the Alpha was much more concerned with his Subordinate’s odd behavior. This topic was quickly lighted upon by the other: more interested now, Sin tilted his head ever so slightly to one side to ponder this. Feeling strange since yesterday afternoon, and others were, too? (Honestly, and rather rudey, he had always found Lorcan to be a bit strange, and he could not help but internally crack up at the notion that the poor beast was just barely starting to feel it… but all crass and inconsiderate joking aside… clearly “more strange than usual” was what was meant. And that there were others experiencing the same, if there were such others, was all the more worrisome.) Strange like how? Did you eat something? Did something bite you? What others? Without taking a breath in between each inquiry, Sinistra bombarded Lorcan with questions about this… strangeness… trying to figure out whether it really was something to be concerned about, or if too many brainiacs had simply invaded the wrong mushroom patch. |

ooc- Sarah ; I decided to make him quite ill breifly, then he will make a quick recovery back to mildly ill and do the caregiving stuff when needed. I had inspritation yeah !!! and tw for the promotion on my char. The raven sighed deeply, as he waited for the alpha's response. Sin had found him annoying the last two times the two had met, but this time Lorcan was determined to make a difference. While he traveled through the lands he had met wolves from other packs who were becoming sick, and had seen members of Nova mountain falling ill as well. A small smile tugged at his labrums, and it was obvious the male was a bit flushed from what one could see he did not feel well. Turning rather quickly and away from Sinistra he coughed rather hard, feeling the mucus in his throat causing him to feel even more nausated. Lorcan closed his eyelids tightly, and and waited for a second till the feeling lessened. The male moved his illed gaze back to his alpha, but kept it lowered respectfully of course. His head pounded massivly and here Sinistra was pounding him with questions, and all Lorcan wanted to do was to scream and run into his den but instead he just nodded to every question, and waited for Sin to stop talking. Once finished his own tranquil yet shaken tones were emmited through those parted jowels, and as his mouth opened anyone could notice his gums were pale in coloring which hinted the fact he was defiantly ill. Well I have noticed members of the pack callapsing, and other wolves from different packs whom I have talked to were feeling sick to their stomaches, and having severe headaches, body aches and things of the sort. I think something weird is starting to happen all over the salvajes Sinistra and I am worried about this. I wanted to talk to you about it later, but you found me instead and I am not myself. While you were gone I have grown , and matured and this is well just plain misery, and I promise I am not pathietic or anything. It's just feeling like I am right now is horrible and I am sure others feel the same. I can help you found out more to the best of my abilities if you'd like after all this is a pack right and we all have duties to help one another correct, and for the other question i started to fill ill about three to four hours after drinking from the springs near white rose lake Lorcan tilted his cranium questingly, and his azure visage focused upon the leader intently. Lobes twitched every now and then while he waited for his response and he prayed in silence that he did not make himself sound like a complete moron, because he truley was concerned for the pack mainly ,but the whole valley as well. His caregiving instincts were starting to kick in, and the male hoped that the alpha would not fall ill ; nor his beloved that would be just horrible. For now he smiled breifly, and starting to shiver and shake a bit he started to callapse ,but caught himself. Perhaps he had over done himself the last couple of days and it was catching up with him. Lorcan shook his head determined to have this meeting with the alpha, he needed to know what was going on and as a pack member that knew it was also his duty to do so, and to help protect his family ; the pack. ![]() When Lorcan turned his head away and hacked a great cough, Sinistra’s nose crinkled; his legs instinctively drawing him another two steps away from their point of conversation. Whatever it was this fellow had, he did not want it. And he did not care how impolite his action was, to draw back thusly, he had not come back to the Salvajes just to fall ill with some weirdo disease that caused the afflicted to have pissing contests with trees. No way. Although, it would just figure if that was what happened. Fate seemed to have it out for him, sometimes. Anyway, Lorcan’s answer was very curious (and very long and rambly, he rather thought), as if everyone from every pack was collapsing and whatnot. What planet had he himself been on when this was happening? He had not heard nor seen any of this — and it wasn’t like he had been a hermit lately, quite the opposite! Sinistra had nearly been to every corner of the Valley, reuniting with old acquaintances and creating brand new ones. Not once had he seen anyone acting ill before spying the Subordinate’s odd behavior moments ago. Right, he said tentatively, although Lorcan had said so much that implied an expectation of confirmation, Sin wasn’t really sure what he was agreeing to anymore. Mass confusion… Well… the Alpha trailed off, trying to process all of this slew of information and figure out an appropriate, logical reaction to make. It’s going to be no help to anyone for you to go off and half die someplace “trying to help”… so… you rest. Yeah, that made sense. So far. And I’ll go look at the water. Fair enough. |

ooc- intresting thread lol, Lorcan is awkared isn't he and this is short i'm beyond tired after a 12 hour work day on no sleep...=( The charcoal painted canine was indeed miserable, and he felt like a complete rambling idiot, but he was frightened by the entire situation. When Lorcan came to these lands for a home, he did not foresee ilness such as this, but sometimes fate had it in for everyone who was still standing. The male by no means was a fortune teller, just a mere advisor. Lobes perked forward, when his leader spoke. Perhaps the two would eventually develop some sort of friendship, but for now it was business and that was all, but something in Sinistra's voice caused him to feel more useful than he had ever been since the first time he had arived in these lands. Lorcan listenedintently upon Sinistra's next words, and a small smile curved across those pale labrums. His words managed to slip off his tounge just barley, and they were of course shaken and light. Thank you Sinistra, perhaps I will feel alright in a couple of days and then I can be more helpful , um just something you might want to consider if you have not already done so would be to call a pack meeting or something of the sort so we can all get this mess under control. I guess i'll head off to rest now The male turned his cobalt gaze towards his leader, once more awaiting a response if any were to come. Lorcan did wish to help, and become a full fledged member and this was the time to do so after he rested of course. sorry for the long delay in replies...was in hospital recieving surgery so i need time to heal up..sorry I will do it as quick as possible |
