For Kira and her Kiriana. Random title I know, it's from AFI's "Summer Shudder". Atra's such a lazy bum with always coming out of dens as an intro now. x]

atraiyu
the time when our steps are retraced

Gray clouds overhead began to disperse and break apart, revealing the endless blue skies behind their puffy barriers. The Mountain range was becoming to be light again, after the previous darkness that swept over the Valley earlier that day. That morning an isolated thunderstorm managed to roll into the area; hailing down massive amounts of rain, creating big lights in the sky to streak overhead in bright zigzagging patterns, and the roars of the heavens above to boom with amplified thunder. One would think that the heaves were reaching down to take hold of the earth, for one’s sights could see in the distance the heavy grayness of rain falling miles away from the Valley, only to be headed in the direction of Mount Shadow. Storms were pretty much unavoidable as far as it came with mountain territories, but one thing could definitely be avoided, and that was keeping dry in one of the lofty dens upon the Shadow territory.

Waiting for the thunderstorm to move on, the Arctic Beta remained nestled and cozy in her den that was quite a ways up the peak. Not too high, but around the middle elevation. It was a random, nameless den that she frequently claimed as her “own”, even though everything here was in possession of every pack member, and every wolf had a right to something on the territory. Knowing that the forgotten Cypress had his own personal den with walls of glittering diamonds and rare earthly ores, Atraiyu figured she could at least have her “own” den too. Anyone was welcome in at anytime, and didn’t mind any visitors stopping by and saying greetings to her.

Shaking her thin ivory coat, Decadence made ways out of her hiding place for the morning to view down at the lower elevation from what her brown eyes could see, and also at the grayish white horizon before her. Well, it seems as if the rain was fading away and clearing up. The humid, arid smell of dew hung heavy in the air, causing the alabaster wolfess to slightly breathe through her parted jaws for more air. Though Atraiyu had a good night’s sleep (and slept through rest of the morning), there was something wrong with her. Her stomach had suddenly become upset, and through the night she felt somewhat queasy and warm. Was it something I must’ve eaten? But I’ve been watching my diet. Her mind could not recall any “bad” prey she managed to get her teeth and jaws on, so this sudden feeling of queasiness was suspicious. Brushing it off, however, Atraiyu just thought of it as some little seasonal virus that came along. Yawning and stretching her tongue out from her jaws, Atraiyu’s agenda today would consist of simply wandering around the territory and sniffing out anything new and interesting. Everything lately had seemed pretty bland and same old, but perhaps the female would run into something curious today, even though she wasn’t in the mood for anything too shocking. With a snort, Atraiyu began her careful ways down a few elevations, seeking to patrol the lower levels of the Mount on this humid day in the Valley.

yay! :3 and I notice everytime in your posts, that you include weather! I always forget to, lmfao.

Eyes focused neatly in the presence of where she was headed, away from the den in which she had slept alone the night before, and last night. Element had been off teaching Akeboshi something, but yet she held no recollection of it. From the looks of it, she could've sworn she was a loner, and she had ventured on the land for some fun. Thats how it had been. She'd rewinded a few months back, and now she was wandering around this strange and shadowy place, just like a wanderer. Green eyes watched the areas like a mossy plain, as many animals shrieked and scattered for the homes in their trees or burrows. Go away, you silly lil' varmints, she mumbled, as she gave a short growl, as she smirked to herself, before trotting along on her way.

Ruby gazed around with a glance of hope in the day, perhaps today she'd find someone to tag along with. For everything was alright in her days, except for that one black crow that kept following her. Whatever that little black bird was about, she had no clue why someone would follow a canadian like herself. By now, she'd had many chances to become something new, but pushed everything away. Now, she was left empty. Every step she took, ended her off somewhere else. Her mind filled with euphoric past dreams, like a family video tape replayed in her mind. Every night she spent with her psychotic mother was played, the night in which she was pushed out into nature with no warnings, until the young canadian found out later why she was pushed away. 'cause momma have affair with nasty bastard, thas why, she mumbled nastily, waiting just for some rabbit to scatter across her path, so she could eat. She felt too dizzy to go hunting.

But with the idea of hunting, came a rather odd stench. Who was that? Ooh. Nasty alphess going to come eat me for intruding on territory, eh? Green eyes widened as she felt a sprinkle of rain wash over her body, something was adrift, and Kiriana was going to face it sooner or later, but first, she needed to find out what this female was doing. It didn't smell of an alphess, but a leader nonetheless. Walking along the shadows, eyes rested on a white figure, emerging from a den. Thinking that this white female had indeed stolen her den that she was walking to. Pulling back her head with a gruff, she decided to reclaim it. With ease, she emerged from the shadows, and with no words, she slinked past the white female, and into the den with ease, as she looked at the white wolf, wondering what the wolf had come for.

I used to always forget the time of day when I type a post, so I always include the weather now just so I don't forget and it makes some sense to the thread. :p And yay for delusional Kiri, Atra's gonna have an interesting time with this one. xD

atraiyu
the time when our steps are retraced

Bland day. Gray skies (was clearing up slowly but surely, though). Same old, same old, same old. Either Atraiyu just felt really uninterested and zoned out from reality, or that she was sick of the fact of making the same rounds and finding nothing to turn up. And just how many times did Atraiyu remember passing this particular boulder on the way down, and noting that a specific bush, hanging for its dear life by its weeds on the edge of the Mount cliff, would still be clinging on to the earth on this day? Patrolling really wasn’t as hyped up as she thought it would be. Now the female could probably relate to Oni and the time where the Alpha had to be observing the Valley borders for newcomers. That must have been a real pain in the tail. A leader’s duty was a leader’s duty, however, and Decadence was in no mood to be chewed out by Dokuga if a simple duty slipped and caused disaster. The Arctic might be on good terms with the large female, but when it came down to business, one’s performance solely relied on that.

Paws barely brought her pallid figure far enough until a scent wafted at the entrance of her wet nostrils, but the scent’s owner appeared before the Beta’s olfactory system could recognize who this particular wolf, or wolfess to be exact, was. Up ahead was a tawny like female coming up at a rather hasty pace. Atraiyu knew right then and there it was Kiriana, the Eta, the one who was punished severely with their last meet by their Alphaess. Cringing inwardly at the memory, her flesh crawled, as she thought about four fangs piercing the tender skin of her muzzle. Not a good image nor feeling, and could only imagine what the poor female felt on the inside when that happened. Not noting how fast she was actually coming toward her, Atraiyu’s tail behind her (drastically thin from fur loss of shedding) wagged at a mild speed, and the corners of her muzzle turned up in a small smile toward Kiriana. Their last meet probably left things just a tad bit awkward, but Atraiyu wanted to break the ice on that if any of those feelings were present. As Kiriana was now close, Atraiyu’s jaws opened to say something until her words were caught in her throat, as Kiri walked right past her.

Utterly confused, Atraiyu’s vision remained forward for a second; tail ceasing its wagging and hanging limply. Blinking, her head then turned around, to where Kiriana went right into her little den that she claimed for the evening. Wait, what just happened here? The female found that strikingly odd for another to just bypass someone and head right into the den. An ivory wolven brow rose on its own accord, as her head was slanted to the side with a quizzical look upon her pale face. “And certainly a good early afternoon to yourself as well?” Atraiyu questioned with slight sarcasm dripping in her cool and collected voice. Dumbfounded, the Arctic stood there, just staring at Kiriana, who was in fact staring right back at her as if nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Okay, this was a strange meet-up.

I must say, I think im like dead. :o seriously. im kind of falling over in my chair. Probably cause its almost 1am here.

It was a probable cause, to be limited to such resources, but having seen so many reflects of light, she could've sworn she saw the white wolfess' mouth move before she entered. Perhaps the white wolf thought her blind and conceiving? Honestly, if she knew what had happened to herself, she would've thought herself blind as well, and very dead at the fact that she had lost a few memory times. Good Afternoon? she asked quietly, peeking her head outside of the den, and staring straight up. I thought it was midnight... she led off, looking at the beta, curious as to how she got good afternoon. Something was off.

Maybe the white wolfess was just oblivious to it being midnight. As thought Kiriana expected it, the white wolfess was surprised to see her slip by and not say a word. Kiriana had no clue who this beast was, and obviously was very friendly just to let her waltz right into a den that seemed to be suited like her own. Boy, maybe she would stay here a while. Ah, loner life, always a good life. Indeed she wasn't a loner, but in her mind, it reset to a while back, before april began. I take it your not the alpha? she concurred lightly, quirking an adjascent brow, as to wonder just who this wolf was. In all thoughts, it was hard for her to even think about who she was. Kiriana hadn't met any, sick speaking, wolves around Mount Shadow. So, maybe they were all weird in the head about dens.

atraiyu
the time when our steps are retraced

What was to come from the Eta’s mouth next came as a mild shock. Giving her a very crazy sideways look, Atraiyu blinked a couple times before what Kiriana said fully registered in her mind. Wait… midnight? It’s not midnight outside... Following the Canadian wolfess’ gaze to the sky, she proceeded to look up at the clearing clouds. The clouds didn’t look black enough to be very dark or make the atmosphere dark, so just what in the hell was Kiri talking about? Auburn eyes searched through the skies, trying to find something that Decadence might have missed. Nothing. Bringing her eyes back out to the peering female inside the den, both wolven brows rose at her. “Uh, correct. I said good afternoon, for the fact that it is daytime and not midnight. What are you talking about?” She questioned, wondering why Kiriana would say such a thing. Either the poor wolfess was highly displaced or something strange was going on. There was something that Atraiyu could sense on Kiriana, but it was something she could not place. They said wolves have the sense to foretell coming storms and other occurrences with wolves and the land, and from what the ivory wolfess’ senses told her, something had to be definitely wrong.

The next thing to follow from the female’s creamy jaws made Atraiyu’s ears double swivel in even more shock. Alpha? Atraiyu as the Alpha? Everyone knew Oni was the Alphaess, Atraiyu the Beta, and Shingle the Delta. The three femme leaders of the Mount. A crazy look was then given to Kiriana, as her ears slightly lowered against her head. “I beg your pardon? I’m the Beta, Kiri. Didn’t you know? I mean… with the confrontation at the borders with that trespasser that one time. Oni… the one who bit you… she’s the Alpha.” As much as Atraiyu didn’t want to bring up that scenario, it was the only one she could think of that could help the Eta remember who the real Alphaess was. Everyone knew that Atraiyu was the Beta of the pack, she was (beside Devon) the only other white wolf in Mount Shadow after all. But why would Kiriana not know this? She had been around here long enough, and plus all the members knew who the leaders were. Her head stooped down a little, giving the Canadian female a sideways look. “Kiriana… are you... alright?” She finally questioned, wondering just what in the world was going on with her. Perhaps she might have woke up on the wrong side of the den this morning, or ate a really bad meal that altered her mind?

haha. yeah, thats sounds just even better to do, lmao. Right now, its 11:07pm, hehe. I'm supposed to practice my flute, but guess what? Kira doesn't want to! whoooo. :o plus, i have pirouline, and ice water...well. not yet. -runs to get some ice water- yay. ice water. except, i spilled a ton of ice on the kitchen ground :o

And even though she seemed to be feeling perfectly fine, she most certainly wasn't. With everything in her mind, she could sense everything that was right, that she thought. And indeed, the canadian princess was not alright. A certain sickness had spread to her body, making her feel dizzy, sometimes light-headed, losing her memory whenever something important seemed to happen, and certainly, she felt horrible. Headaches came at times, stomach aches. Plus, it was hard for her to catch her food, even as hunter, when you were stumbling around when you needed to stalk your prey with no noise. Everything was better off left unsaid. Ohboy. Afternoon? Whats for lunch? Anything good. Must be meat. Maybe squirrel. Or a rabbit, she said quite quickly, not noticing she was talking so fast, until she felt a flurry of dizziness.

Ohboy. Lurking back to the situation that Atraiyu had bounced back at her, she gave a ruffled whimper at the small idea of being bitten by someone. You sure your not the alpha? she said, one eye searching to her face, curious to know what kind of wolf would say that she wasn't alpha? Then, at the sudden caring aspect of the common question if she was alright, she shook her head. Yeah. I just fed my five pups, and now I'm doing splendid! she said, not even knowing that she didn't have five little kids. She had an adopted one, that was it. Boy, something hit her hard. Kiriana, began to move her way out of the den, stumbling forth, making her way to the said "beta". For one thing, how did the female know her name? And why did she use that nickname of hers, just like said mate was.

You play the flute too? I love the flute! I've been playing ever since 6th grade in middle school, I was second chair in my band class. Everybody thinks i'm such a dork for playing it, but I user posted image it. Do you know how to play "Yankee Doodle" really fast? xD

atraiyu
the time when our steps are retraced

The more this scenario carried out, the more and more Atraiyu began to think something had to be seriously wrong. Last time on meeting Kiriana, she was perfectly sane and her bearings were straight. Now, she didn’t know what to make of this. At the mention of what was on the menu for this afternoon in regards to food, Decadence gave her another crazed look, and at the same time her own stomach burbled and growled. For some reason, the slight growl was unpleasant, which was strange, but Atraiyu brushed off that uncomfortable feeling. This was more important. Looking around at their surroundings, the Beta tried to figure out what to say. “Uh… well up here, you’ve got a choice of goats, bighorn, and selection of rabbits?” Two white, bony mountains rose from her figure in a shrug. If Kiriana was asking Atraiyu to catch something for her, however, then the Beta would find that a bit suspicious. Not that she wouldn’t have a problem doing that, Atraiyu loved to hunt just as much as the next wolf, but Kiriana seemed like she was in perfect shape and capable of doing it herself.

Was she sure she wasn’t the Alpha? The ivory female looked around. Of course she wasn’t, unless Oni somehow disappeared and Atraiyu was unknowingly left to take the reigns of Mount Shadow, but figured that was highly not likely. Oni wouldn’t abandon the pack territory just like that. Then again, Cypress left without a word. Coming back to the odd situation at paw, white lobes caught Kiriana’s talk about five puppies. Five puppies!? Since when did this happen, and how come Atraiyu didn’t know!? Uh-oh, perhaps she wasn’t doing her pack duty. Shaking her head from side to side, she tried to make sense of all this. “Wait wait… you have five puppies? Since when?” She questioned in a started tone. Watching as the Canadian wolfess stumbled out of the den, Atraiyu began thinking that the five puppies didn’t exist at all. There was something wrong. Her nose could smell it. Taking a few cautious steps forward, the Arctic stood nearly nose to nose in front of Kiriana. “Kiriana, are you alright? Something’s wrong with you. You’re acting… strange.” Brown eyes searched the other female’s gaze for any signs of a glossy tint to them. Was it just Kiriana got hit with a very large rock from a landslide somewhere, or (and Atraiyu feared the worst for this) she perhaps caught a nasty virus that altered with her mind? Those were the only two things she could think of, and now she was intent on figuring this all out for Kiriana’s sake.

zomgz. yes. I play flute. I started in 6th grade as well, going into my sophomore year. Today, I just got back from whipkeys near me, and was trying out some flutes to play for concert. Last year, I played my beat of shit of a flute for concert and marching band :o Now, in concert, I can play with a shiny flute. I still hate practicing, though.

And even though Kiri was in a swell mood, she just seemed rather put off that this female was indeed kind of pushing her. Was there something wrong? The way that she looked at Kiriana, made her feel all the more horrible. Kiriana was slightly disturbed, that she might've seemed wrong in presence, but it wasn't her fault now was it. She'd wanted a swim, she got it. Now, she just happened to be like this. But that didn't stop her, no siree. Selection of rabbits, eh? she asked quietly, as she hopped in front of her, and almost falling over to her side in the process. I think its time I go for a little huntin'm she responded, looking over at Atraiyu. Sad thing was, Kiriana would have her prey fleet in a hurry because of the stumbling she did along the way. Care to join me, oh great white?

That was no way offense, she wished she had a pelt as beautiful as Atraiyus. But indeed, coming from a long female line of black wolves, it seemed that she'd gotten her fathers looks, and her mothers eyes. At the current question by the beta, she gave a simple nod of her head, maybe not the most truthful, but Kiriana in her mind thought she had five puppies. Why yes! They're almost seven months old now! she exclaimed, as she walked forward a bit, her eyes blinking like a ditz, as she watched her beta move forward to ask her a very familiar question. I'm as right as the rain thats hitting across my back, she said gently, as she wobbled to the left quietly, before she looked back off into the expanse of nature. So, you up for a hunt? Boy, if only Kiriana knew what she'd be getting into with any hunt with her sick body.

I apologize that this took extremely long to post. xx; I've been immensely occupied with outside things the past couple of weeks, and ontop of that i've just started my second job, so it hasn't been giving me any leeway for internet time. Don't worry, I haven't forgot about this even when it's not listed in my post log (which i'm going to update as well)! But yeah, my flute is pretty rank, I haven't cleaned it in ages, and it still works like a charm (when I use it, whenever that is, however) xD

atraiyu
the time when our steps are retraced

Was Atraiyu up for a hunt? Certainly, there was never an opportunity where the female wouldn’t pass up a hunting session with a pack member, but unfortunately Atraiyu just had to pass up this one and save it for another time. She wouldn’t mind hunting for Kiriana at all, but the Arctic’s attention had drifted into something else entirely. No, this wasn’t Kiriana. Atraiyu could sense it. A smirk would’ve appeared at the corner of her maw at Kiri’s mention of “great white” as a fitting nickname for the Beta of the Mount, but at this moment the leathery line on her muzzle was almost frowning. Shaking her head back and forth, Atraiyu didn’t move her spot. “Thanks, but… no thanks. Not now, Kiriana. Not with the way you’re acting.” Chocolate eyes kept a curious glance on the creamy femme. “Something’s wrong with you. There’s a little… I would say… trait about you that’s off.” She said, taking some time to figure the correct words to say, and wasted no time getting to the point of things, bringing it up to her attention immediately; all the meanwhile searching the hunter’s figure for strange markings of any sort. “Do you have a fever? Did you eat something untactful?” Immediately she fired questions at her, wanting to get to the bottom of this, for Atraiyu knew this would forever eat away at her curious gut and she wanted to know just what in the world was going on.

The more and more Kiriana spoke about her imaginary puppies, the more and more she became concerned rather than gawking at her like a crazed wolf gone mad with rabies. Which, in fact, did sort of weird her out a little. Arctic wolves were no exception to the foreign diseases found in other habitats; she came to learn that quickly. Some diseases, believe it or not, existed in the tundra as well but were rare cases. Could it be that Kiriana harbored one of those strange diseases from here? It was quick to jump to that conclusion, but it was a chewing thought of hers in the back of her mind. Shaking her head to herself, Atraiyu thought that it had to be another reason, or else the female would be foaming at the mouth. “Kiriana… uh… where are your pups, exactly?” She questioned, curious to get some information out of her. “From what I know, or what has been reported by the leaders… there’s no record of you giving birth to any sort of litter. We, the leaders, would certainly be aware of this. Unless… you’ve had them without notifying the rest of the pack?” The birth of new wolves was certainly a joyous occasion for all wolves, and everyone knew that wolves were crazy over newborns. Why, then, would Kiriana hide her birthing? Didn’t she want to share her joy with the rest of the Mount too?

I don't practice too much, I find it annoying and reptitive. But I do like practicing my marching music. :D
She was fairly stretched out at the moment, wondering just why this arctic female was making such a big fuss. The female didn't seem very pleased that Kiriana was there, so Kiri just continued to smile, feeling as though she were being just as polite as anyone in the world, because she felt absolutely fine, except for that short stomachache that kept bugging her every once in a while. But that couldn't be helped. As the white one honestly declined the suggestions for her to join the hunt, Kiri quirked a brow and frowned. There's nothing wrong with how i'm acting, she mumbled, obviously feeling as though the white one wasn't believing in anything she heard, instead what she saw. Kiriana had no clue she looked so horribly dead-washed, but to the eta, that didn't exactly matter. She was doing fine from her point of view, and needed no help.

Okay, your choice, she answered, shaking her head, pretending to be highly ashamed of Atraiyu, before facing the direction to which she was going to go hunting. Something about me is off? What's off? I'm just a regular kid ready to have a house party, she replied, grinning lively, hoping that Atraiyu would give in, and come for a hunt. Kiri wanted to hunt, and didn't know that she really couldn't hunt with this tumbling feature that had developed into her. Well, I'm wanting to eat something - I'm starving, she commented, hoping to god that Atraiyu would just follow and help with the hunt. Oh...the puppies are sleeping in a tree, she replied, acting as though the puppies were small little critter-like squirrels that lived in trees.

I like that table you have there, Kira. :) I'm having fun playing catch up with all my threads. I swear, i'm too much of a busy person nowadays. -_-;

atraiyu
the time when our steps are retraced

“Oh yes there is.” The Arctic female instantly retorted back without a pause. When Atraiyu had a hunch about something (and when there was perfect evidence to support her assumption), she was not going to let this one slide. Kiriana was acting too strange for her own good. Keeping her chocolate gaze focused intently on the creamy she-wolf, her tail flicked as she began to note all the characteristics of a not so good looking wolfess. The female before her was no doubt beautiful for her species and age, but right now (according to what Atraiyu saw) she wasn’t in her best light. “Kiriana, your face looks deathly pale to me. Have you looked at your reflection lately in the Cascades or in the lake? You don’t…. look very good at all.” Her head shook back and forth with her words. Decadence would not give into her cheesy grin or her sudden burst of high spirit, not after the following words that came from the Canadian she-wolf. “Are you listening to the words coming from your jaws? You are speaking quite strangely. There are no houses here. I don’t know what a house is, but they sure do not exist in the Valley.” Not knowing what the word house meant, Atraiyu probably figured it was something that had to do with the humans, but would ask questions about that at another time. Peering closer at her, Atra’s mind drifted to Kiriana’s mate, Element. Personally, she was not sure how the two got along in their mate ship, but Atraiyu briefly wondered where he was at during this time with Kiri acting weird. “Do you mind if I ask you where Element might be? He’s your mate.” She added at the end, wondering if she would get some wacky answer from Kiriana after asking that.

Ears were kept high and alert, listening to every word that managed to fall from her wolven lips. No matter what, the Beta wanted to get down to the bottom of all this. Something was definitely not right. Not only was it her hunch, but that strange “sixth sense” that canines have also detected something was awry. Hearing her say her “puppies” were in a tree somewhere, it made her auburn hued vision take a moment to look down at Lilac Valley below and its numerous growth of trees, before brushing that statement aside entirely. The words that did make sense to her, however, was that Kiriana was hungry. Perhaps she wasn’t just talking silly about that, and maybe it was just the she-wolf’s hunger that was getting to her. “Well, if you’re really that hungry, then I suppose we’ll go hunting then. But let me ask you this. The last time you hunted, what did you eat?” She questioned, wondering if what she last ate was possibly something that was decaying or just wasn’t in season.

Perhaps want to end this soon? Maybe 1-2 more posts? counting my post now or not.

___________________________________

She was pretty darn sure that she was feeling okay, but why did Atraiyu keep saying things that weren't true? That she didn't look too good, and that she was falling under some kind of impression about everyone. Was everyone this way, or was she just this irritable. Kiriana wasn't sure how she was acting at the moment, all she knew was that someone was calling her deathly pale expression, and the fact that she seemed quite lost. Perhaps the white one was correct in saying that there was something wrong? If there was, there was a pretty strange difference into that structure. She wasn't sure what to believe. I lookied into the cascades just this morning, and I looked fine, she answered, quirking a brow curiously, wondering just what the actual pale one was trying to explain to her. Was she all of a sudden no pretty? Or was the pale one infering that she was prettier?

Atraiyu seemed to believe rightly that Kiriana was speaking in a foreign tongue with words, and she believed not, seeing that she understood every word that escaped her mouth, she just didnt know the definition of some of them. No, your talkin' crazy, cause you don't know that im a sorceress, and she wants to get food, she said, grinning widely to herself, as she made a movement towards atraiyu with a lopsided grin on her face. Hearing that very mentionable name issued into her mind, a large grin melted onto her face. I know him! I know him! she yelled, Yeah, he's with the kids, she replied, giving a slow jerk of her head. It wasn't that she was stupid, her sickness was just a little bit awkward, due to the lack of concentration that had formed within her mind. Why, I ate a bunny, thats what.

Sure. I would continue on with more, but unfortunately my inspiration has been slain, and plus I don’t want to keep you waiting from my scarcity either.

atraiyu
the time when our steps are retraced

For the first time out of their whole conversation while meeting up, her first statement sounded like it had a somewhat sane quality to it. Or as far as Atraiyu could interpret; perhaps she might have been wrong about that. Giving her a quiet once over with her cocoa hued eyes, a quick nod adorned her snow capped skull. “This morning eh? Care to go look at yourself again? I’m not saying this all in the wrong way Kiriana, but you just don’t look like your normal self. Please believe me when I say this. Something is wrong, you don‘t look well.” Was there slight pleading in Atraiyu’s naturally cool and collected voice? It indeed was. Atraiyu was a tolerant and patient wolfess, but there was only so much she could take from doing things that only led the situation around in circles before she would get frustrated enough. The Beta was insistent on getting this through the female’s head. Maybe a trip back to the Cascades, or any other watery surface, would show Kiriana that Decadence was not a crazy Arctic wolf just making up things for the hell of it.

A sigh emitted from her muzzle, as the wolfess’ talk about sorcery came to her white tipped ears. She was just going to disregard all of that, because it was nothing that made sense anyway. If only Kiriana was the storyteller of the pack. Boy, would she have some interesting tall tales to tell the pups… There was some shard of hope that shined through, however. At least Kiriana was able to recall who her mate was. That was a good sign. Giving a swish of her tail, she looked around a bit before looking back to Kiriana. “Good! At least you remember Element! Perhaps we should go find him, and maybe he will say the same as I am saying about you.” It was a good plan to Atraiyu. Who better than her own mate, and hopefully with the words of Element, it could somehow move Kiri into thinking some was really wrong with her. The mention of a rabbit was soon brought up, and Atraiyu’s ears twitched idly upon her head. “Hmm. Do you recall what kind of rabbit it was? Or how easy it was to catch it, if you did catch it?” She questioned. When it came to prey and hunting, Atraiyu was a master in her own field, so if Kiriana provided some straight answers, the Arctic could probably get down to the bottom of things once and for all.

my muse is pretty dead as well, heh. Ive just been posting a ton for the WLC thing <3

AND WHEN THE SKY IS FALLING
DONT LOOK OUTSIDE THE WINDOW

Even if her mind was practically dying on the floor, she stil had a bit of common sense to add into the whole fad of charades. Element had told her countless times that she was sick, but they'd have to go through the same thing every day, a short arguement of her being sick, when she argued that she wasn't, and that he was just being a lame pussy. It seemed rather unfortunate that Kiriana believed that she had five puppies, that they were all in a tree sleeping, and that element was watching over them. She felt a bit woozy, but she just thought it was cause of the fight she was semi-having with the arctic. For every moment she spent talking to the wolf, it seemed that she just got hungrier and hungrier, and angrier and angrier. These were the types of things that got on her nerve. Besides, Atraiyu had no right to tell her she was sick and imaginging things.

Your just jealous of my good looks, bah. Jealousy was over-ruled, and Kiriana would not put up with it. If this female wanted her looks, then she'd best get herself dirty for the brown, and leave a few white spots, and smoosh plants against her brownish-gold eyes. You cannot speak to him, he is special and he only speaks to wolves who don't hurt my feelings, she answered, pulling her head up high. Boy, was she in a rather bitchy mood at the moment. Listening to the questions about her catch, she narrowed her eyes. Was this arctic wanting food now? Asking what was good in the area? Pfft. I'm a professional hunter, I coul' catch anythin' I want to in a goo' matter o' time, she answered, as she shook her head in disgrace.

Looking off towards Mount Shadow, she looked at the arctic, and then back at the den that was upwards into the rocks. I'm going to go catch my own food, myself. Thanks for the effort and talk, and offering to catch food with me, but imma do it myself, she answred, and with a short nod of her head, she dashed away towards mount shadow, glad that that discussion had been passed.
