Alright Sarah, heres the crappy thread. I'm in a rush with posting so this may be bad, and filled with numerous miss-typings, but oh well. I tried x.x

His paws were leading him to a spot of land he so warmly enjoyed, hazy view absorbed the likes of the Silent Moon Plateau lands, humidity falling over him as he panted loudly, mouth raw from lack of water, and nostrils, seemingly dead to the world for they had clogged up the night before, having given up the battle to the sickness. With all this sickness, his azures were what hadn't been effected yet while he settled onto large haunches, a sighed emitted in frustration. Why the hell couldn't he heal up already? The event between Atraiyu and himself, which envolved a sickness of some kind that he'd surely gotten healthy from hours later, was a short sickness, and he so prayed this one was exactly the same, yet this cold had lasted for nearly four days now, and it showed no signs of letting up. Shifting apon his limbs uncomfortably, he felt surprised that he hadn't come to a land filled with water, it was evident that liquid was doing his parched body no good, for the more he drank the faster it came back, with even less signs of giving up. What a miserable summer this was turning up to be.

Allowing his body to lower, forepaws criss-crossing, as head lowered lightly atop it. Sleep could do the male some sort of justice, for when he was in a deep slumber, the aches and pains of his paws, his gums, his ears, hell his whole body could no longer be felt the instant he traveled to dream world. Sighing yet again, he tried to summon his mind to sleep, yet it continued to think, mumbles conversing in his mind, and what about he wasn't too sure, he couldn't relax, his tired muscles wouldn't give up, it seemed they had a mind of their own, a goal of traveling that Kimoto, as tired and aching as he was, felt was too far a goal from his objective. Mumbling words of his own, weak tail wrapping against his hindquarters, he decided to simply close his mind, with hours of fake sleep emitted in it, he'd be able to drift off in no time. Too bad it would take longer than he expected.

The cure search in Wild Fire Forest had turned up nothing ground-breaking. There were so many plants in the wood that Sinistra could identify — granted, some more quickly than others — only to be disappointed as he recounted the medicinal properties of them, as he had been taught by the medically inclined in his birthpack. There were a few that might have done something for alleviating minor aches and pains, but nothing that would cure the effects of some unknown pollutant in the water. Although the Novan seriously wondered if there even was a cure, or some kind of counteractive flora that would wipe out the effects (and then they would simply have to hope that the bad water passed through, eventually…), instead of returning to the mountain, Sin headed for Silent Moon Plateau to search there for something promising.

And just as he had in the Forest, on the smooth landscape of Silent Moon, the Alpha found another. This one was unidentifiable — no one he had ever seen before. The creature’s scent on the wind told of Silver Creek, a pack with which he did not share the warmest of sentiments. However, Sinistra suspected that pack politics were the last thing on that pack’s collective mind at the moment. Being surrounded by water that was surely contaminated, they had probably been hit hard. Well, perhaps if he found a cure and saved them all, that would give him something to dangle over their heads in the future…

As it was, the ebony canine decided to skirt around this wolf as much as possible, trying not to disturb him, in part because he had no idea if the nameless other was sick or sane, and in part because he wasn’t in the mood for conversing.

Sorry for my slacking in this thread, lost my urge to roleplay for a minute, I think it's coming back. But I still think it's gonna be a good thread ^^

He struggled to effectively make his mind sound, body twitching every so often as he whined, as if he were a small pup experiencing a nightmare, moving and shifting as though he were trying to get into a perfect spot, though never realizing that sleep wasn't to be on his agenda from the first crack of sunlight. Emitting a sigh, and failing to catch the scent of Sinistra on the winds, he lifted a single forepaw, left eye opening to gaze at the blazing sun ahead as he cursed his blasted luck. How in the hell was he to get sleep when the sun just refused to set? (Even though it was only about three in the evening)another sigh cast, he closed his eyes in an effort to fall asleep, even shifting once more in wake; maybe his position just wasnt right? Though again, sleep just couldn't be surfaced as he lifted his head from the grassy likes of the Silent Moon Plateau. Blades waved in the wind as he struggled to regain his vision, blurs of colors staining his eyes as he blinked uncontrollably, focusing his pupils to the sun, when finally, the pelt of ebony could be detected from the grasses.

The male couldn't be recognized, so Kimoto knew first hand he hadn't met him before, or at least he figured so, yet in his state of mind he could have met the male yesterday and forgotten his name the next second. Ears perking lazily, tail thumping slowly, a yawn escaped his jaws as watched the lone brute, he seemed determind in getting some place fast, or rather to be left alone, yet the urge to meet him was strong. He just couldn't let someone so close to him leave; not before meeting them first anyway. Forcing a bark, something he hadn't done since he was a couple months old, eyes showed signs of greeting as he waited for the male to show the likes of his own greetings. Licking at his mouth, feeling the tingling sensation of dryness coming over him again, his head shook, as though he could get the sickness out from that, until he was finally still. Waiting for Sinistra, the Alpha male of Nova Mountain -whom he had no way of knowing since he'd yet to meet the brute, come his way.

Carrying about his business, the cure-searcher came to an abrupt halt as an attention-seeking bark shattered the relative silence of the day. Relative, of course, because there was the normal harmony of birds singing and crickets chirping, and every now and again the leaves on the nearby foliage would rustle in a hot summer breeze. Silent Moon Plateau was a poor place to search for medicine, the Alpha was quickly realizing, because there was little here for as far as the eye could see but grass and dotting shrubs. Rockse every now and again… still, he would be faithful in his search. Or he would have been, had the stranger’s call not interrupted him.

If looks could kill, the other might have withered on the spot when head slowly craned around to look in the wolf’s general direction, blazing yellow eyes fixing him in a penetrating glare. Although true that the Alpha was not in the mood to converse to begin with, what made his overly sensitive blood boil was the whole manner in which he was being “beckoned,” as if the other assumed the grandeur not to need to say “hello” and instead to wait, like some kind of royalty, for Sinistra to come to him… all when Sinistra was endeavoring to ignore him in the first place.

Turning his full body to face the creature, taking a few steps in the stranger’s direction, rather blandly he asked: What?

Service at a quick pace. Now thats what he was talking about. Slowly lifting himself to all fours, feeling groggy as though his head weighed pounds unimaginable, he smiled cooly at Sinistra, azures meeting those of this fellow ebon male as ears were lowered to his skull. Expression was blank, though the mirrors to his soul showed signs of promise, and excitement, licking his dry jowls as he watched those of Sinistra's. He had a sudden urge to report his problem to someone, hell he had been in plenty of fights now adays, disputes of all kinds, and he needed someone to talk to, maybe they could council him about his sudden burst of rage.He didn't like feeling like this, hated fighting with any wolf he came in contact with, and felt like he would die if this dry effect didn't pass over soon. And what more his mind was already getting cloudy, feeling as though he were gaining a notch on his irritance belt, he held back all emotions as he cleared his raw mouth. Sizing the male up before speaking.

"Sorry if I interupted something, my name is Kimoto...and I have a problem on my paws" there it was, the first step was to admit you had a problem, as he stared at the likes of Sinistra with hope. His nerves were jumping, something was itching within him, wanting him to leave, go somewhere, find something, and he just didn't know what to do, and the more he sat in this bunched up jumble of emotions he gained more irritation. Sighing deeply, lowering himself to the ground lands once more, a paw was lifted to cover his eyes, a whine emitted as he stuggled with his problems. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!" he yelled underneath large forepaw. No matter if the other male considered him odd, scary, or just plan creepy, Kimoto felt trapped in his own body, and there was nothing he could do about it but scream and wonder would this illness ever pass.

It was all the wandering medic could do not to fall flat on his face in increduous amazement at this whole situation. There the wolf stood, muscles tensed as eyes searched the stranger appraisingly for answers to a million (many of them rather rude and foul) questions about what the hell this all was about. Although his stance was overall neutral, ears were perked expectantly and tail swayed half-raised behind him, perhaps in preparation of his own defense if necessary. This was, simply and unquestionably, bizarre.

Facial features contorted into utterly confused disbelief as the other introduced himself and admitted he had a problem. Kimoto? Do I know this guy? Sinistra asked himself urgently, searching blankly for any shread of recognition. The stranger smelled of Silver Creek; he had before made a practice of avoiding them dramatically, and doubted highly that he had met and forgotten this fellow since his return. What the hell?

They look fine to me, Sin replied, staring pointedly at the other’s paws, words muddled by all the confusion he felt. Do I look like a walking psychoanalysis booth? No! He was pretty sure, in fact, that he conveyed to most the sheer impression that he was the least likely to give a shit, or at least among the lower tier of the likely to give a shit index, therefore, this was, bizarrrre…

But he was quickly taken aback by Kimoto’s shout of exasperation: ears flattened, tail followed, body shifted back defensively as the Alpha’s golden eyes widened in growing disbelief, just when he thought he couldn’t feel any more confused about all of this. I was wondering the same thing?! Sin thought to himself in his own fit of exasperation, gaze still open like a pair of teacup saucers. Where do you want me to start?!

He sat up now, mind sparking to attention as Sin mentioned his paws condition. At least something on his were in top order, as eyes were directed toward them, a nod issued and a reassuring smile before he eyed the ebon male. Expression was still as blank as ever, as though he still had no words to speak, though eyes did much of the talking, for they now showed signs of happiness, a lick issued to his dry maw, ears dancing, he was glad that nothing on the outside seemed out of ordinary. Though pupils couldn't speak for the inside, he was burning to be healed, and back to normal, and yet strangely he still didn't have an answer to what was happening to him. Sure, he was positive about the symtoms, they were about the only things he was confident about, nothing was worse than a dry mouth, a numbing headache and irritation that sent him to a stage he hadn't witnessed since he were a pup. If he were a doctor, his diagnosis would be that he was dying much sooner than nature had planned, though papers would show he was nothing but a mere animal in a painful crisis.

A crooked smiled issued toward his ebon shrink, head cocked to the side as Sin's sarcastic words could be heard. So he was indeed showing others how sick he truely was, oh well, now that his guardian angel was here, he could be saved and nothing would be bothering him anymore. Finally, he'd be cured. Swallowing back saliva, and choking on his attempting words, he nodded as words flowed through. "You can start by telling me whats wrong with me...I don't enjoy being sick and I don't enjoy others seeing me like this. If you can give me advice on making me better, I swear I'll never do wrong again" thoughts immediatly flashed toward the fights he had with his own mate, an attempt fight with Kiriana and moments when he just wanted others to leave him alone, and when prey looked so tempting he didn't care if they were friend or foe. They were all signs of sickness, all signs that Kimoto's madness. And yet his conscience barely scratched the surface of the times when he just wanted out.

As all of this went on and inner consciousness strained to figure out what piece of the puzzle was missing that would lend some kind of understanding to Kimoto’s outburst, it slowly began to dawn that the crazed Creek wolf was sick. Good thing you really aren’t a medic, Sinistra chided himself with a humored “duh”… clearly, his doctoring skills weren’t the greatest. At least he had other things to make up with it. Yup. He was great at… er… anyway! So, with that confirming that the stranger was, indeed, mad and for good reason — presumably he had drank the tainted water (unless he was always like this?! eesh!) — it followed logically that Kimoto was telling him because the other presumed Sinistra would know about the illness on the rise in the lands, and would have answers.

Damn, now the Alpha remarked in an appreciative mental musing, I must look pretty friggen’ competent. Nice. Indeed, it wasn’t easy…

You drank the water, didn’t you? It was not so much of a question as a tentative statement: he figured Kimoto would confirm and that would chase away any lingering doubts that the Creek native was just a raging lunatic by nature. In the Cascades? In the Lake? Hell, in your own backyard? Anywhere down there was surely infected by whatever it was that was causing all of this bizarre behavior in so many otherwise relative stable creatures. The water’s bad, Sin explained loudly, then reminded himself that Kimoto was psychotic, not deaf, and so toned it down: You drank infected water.

As if all his prayers were answered, a spark of light appeared in Kimoto's eyes, showing signs of a promise that wouldn't become true without a cure, he lifted himself to all four of his paws, thick pads pressing against the grounds, sending a sharp pain to his nervous system. They had been numb for days now, tired from the constant traveling he'd been doing since the day he was caught with a bit of dehydration and fought to cast himself where an abundance of water was when it became much too horrible to handle. The tingling sensation subsiding, he smiled toward his guardian angel, finding himself understanding the problem.

Head nodded slowly, taking in the black males words, and noting the fact that he had indeed been taking in the sparkling water found across the lands. But how could he help it? A raw mouth needed water, and Kimoto was to be sure to try and supress it even if his attempts were futile. "I've drank from any water source avaliable sir. White Rose Lake, Sparkling Springs, The Cascades...and occasionally from my own home when I'm there" little did he know it that he'd been infected with the virus much too many times to count. The problem had started out as just a little headache at first, before advancing and turning him into what he was now. A psycho Mexican Gray.

Ears perking, as though this bit of information about bad water was new to him, he merely snorted, looking at Sinistra as though he'd lost his marbles. The water wasn't bad, nothing about water was bad, and no one could tell him different. He'd been drinking water for years, and up until this month, he'd been finding that this sickness was taking over him much quicker than he wanted. But it couldn't be from the water...no. That was just insane. "Sir, water isn't bad. It's the main reason creatures like you and me are alive today, accompanied with the sun. If I were you, I'd look into the prey for answers. Maybe something is causing them to go bad..." he didn't know what had caused him to believe the prey was the reason he and others were falling ill, but surely it wasn't from the water. Their whole existance came from water, and this just couldn't be the reason he was suddenly finding himself irritated.

Problem: solved. . . . Kind of. Except not really. Now it was isolated for certain that Kimoto had been infected by the water that was making others ill as well, which was a bittersweet discovery. At least it meant there was not another source of the psychosis or, rather, that there was not just a generally psychotic wolf running around to confuse the situation… but Sinistra was still no closer to finding any kind of potential cure for all of this. He had absolutely no idea how to fix the actual problem — but at least he knew what the problem was. That had to count for something?

Gaze focused on the Creeker blankly as he went on a tirade about water not being bad. As in, water in general; this prompted the Alpha to replay his last statements in his mind: no, he had been fairly specific, he thought. Water in general wasn’t bad, duh. The water was bad, the water in all the places he had listed and all the places Kimoto had acknowledged drinking from.

Listen, Kimoto, Sinistra insisted, this was still very bizarre, — Mind if I call you Kimmy? No? Good. Listen, Kimmy — A disease that caused whom it affected to turn into raging morons. Uffa, c’era beddu lu pitrusinu, c’ii lu’attu e ci piscio. You’re the psycho here, remember? Not me, you. Trust me, Kimmy, there’s something in the water that is making you stupid. Unless you’re always this way, in which case, there’s no help for you, amico, no help at all. So which is it?

--, Nice table. =)

Mind taking in words and seeming to erase the most important points to Sinstra's speech, he merely nodded as though he understood, a confused look coming to his face as the black male approached him with a new nickname. Kimmy? his mind wondered, face scrunching up at this false name, though finding it alright, as long as no other caught on to the fact that some brute was calling him Kimmy. Sounds pretty girly to me he continued to rant, swallowing his saliva as he mind argued on. Ears sparking to attention every so often until the words were broken down.

"Hey! I'm no psycho, I just need help. What kind of guardian are you to be calling names?" he spoke, fuming that someone was making fun of him for reasons he was obviously blank to. "Furthermore, what makes you normal who's to say your not suffering from this so called virus water has given me?" his eyes widened in question, head cocking to the side, as ears topped off his expression. Surely, Sinistra had a case on his hands.

And than he was hit with the fact that many he wasn't suffering from anything at all. Maybe, just maybe, he was like this his whole like, an idiot who fought with any possible victim and argued to the point of no reason about water. Just maybe Kimoto wasn't sick after all...naw. "I'm pretty sure I wasn't like this a week or so ago. I think thats when this all took effect anyway... he trailed off, before finishing after a four second pause. "Are you cursing at me in some foreign language, if thats the case I don't talk to potty mouths. I'm no idiot, I can tell when someone's talking about me" he finished, eyes narrowing at Sin when the words slipped forth. IT seemed the more he talked, the slower Kimoto tended to get.

Sorry for the delay… I think, since the plot is wrapping up, we ought to figure out how to finish this up sometime in the near future.. :)

Wander {Aimlessly}
Listen, the Alpha began to reply calmly, although it was becoming evident to him that whatever of his own patience was remaining was quickly beginning to dwindle, I didn’t offer to help you, Kimmy, you asked. So either you want my help, my way, or you don’t, and I can move on… But it seemed the Creek wolf was acting in fits as it was, and as the other quickly moved on to changing the discourse back to when he began to feel so ill. (And then he just as quickly had a meltdown over the nature of the word, “amico,” to which Sinistra made an impatient sound from the depths of his throat and offered: If I were cursing you, there wouldn’t be any doubt in your mind what I was saying.

Funny, he thought, how it was odd that he could barely tell there was anything wrong with this fellow — the other’s logic was so annoyingly familiar to the manner in which Tiamat had helped herself to parading around Nova Mountain’s lands, that it was becoming painfully apparent, whether sick or perfectly healthy, that Silver Creek wolves had a very nasty habit of feeling as if they were owed something. Tiamat had somehow believed she was entitled to trespass and tell off a resident; Kimmy here somehow believed he was entitled to demand Sinistra’s help and then act as if the Novan’s mere presence (and “potty mouth,” even though he had called the creature “friend”) was an imposition.

It was official. They were a bunch of spoiled brats, and this illness was only magnifying it to utterly ridiculous proportions. What is it that you expect me to do for you? There is no magic answer. We’re all trying as frantically as we can to figure this out. In the mean time, go home and sit somewhere. And keep your mouth shut, Sinistra began, then finished, Because you’re not doing yourself — or anyone else — any favors by storming around having nervous breakdowns with strangers.

Heh, I'll just end it now. You can reply if you want, or I'll just archieve it. The thread was fun! ^^

His life was flashing before his eyes, mind was jumbling, and all this black male could do was sit there and try to call him names, well Kimoto had a thing or two to say to him, especially since he seemed to think he had the upper hand with Kimoto. Guardian Angel or not, the mexican male would be damned if he'd allow another to treat him as though he were 'trash'. "I am listening, and I'm waiting for your help, but so far you've only proved to tell me about water" he confessed, standing apon all fours instantly before he continued "And quite frankly your doing a poor job of being my guardian...I'm pretty sure I can fix this on my own" with this ears perked to attention, seeming to be surprised about what their owner had said. It was official, Kimoto had snapped. A frustrated look coming to his face again, head shook as he fumed. Argueing with his mind over the course of what happened. First he was cursed, now he was denyed service if he didn't believe the water was a danger. Now didn't Sin strike a hard deal?

Turning on his paws, tail flicked back and forth as he looked over the Plateau lands. Nothing was in sight, and Kimoto was starting to feel rather weak, limbs were shakey as he strived to keep himself moving, stopping only when heard the rest of what the black male had to say. "Thats not my problem, you angelic guys should have some kind of answer, yet you deny me mine. I feel I might be much better at home. Thanks for nothing...guardian who didn't even give me a name" he huffed before turning, limbs continueing on back toward Silver Creek in a state that some would guess Kimoto was drunk. Well thanks for nothing Sinistra!
