<3 For Kimoto, set in Hickory Stream Woods :3
For the faintest of light passed through the darkness of the plateau, things were very odd, she'd have to say. She felt good, very good, actually. Although the sleepiness crept in as always, as it was nearing night-time for the salvajes. She had no disposition, because she was happy for one thing that had happened on this night. That was the fact that with all her stumbling sickness, she'd managed to get a small rabbit without giving herself away completely. That was her one goal, and she usually made that strange black male who kept telling her past stories, or so he said, about their relationship. He had agreed to help her out, and would hunt for her as well as the golden puppy in which slept in the den that she believed she'd let him sleep in. In course, she was appreciative that she'd managed to catch some food, without the zeta helping her out.
So now, walking across the Morning Glory Cascades, across Silent Moon Plateau, and right to the Woods, a place she had yet to visit. There were many upon many places she still needed to visit. But yet, in her current state, she wasn't willing to make very many travels outside of her boundaries due to this so called illness. At least someone had informed her of being sick, but still, perhaps it was a little uncanny to be sick. Sickness tastes no better than this 'ere rabbit, she commented, bringing her muzzle down to the fine piece of rabbit. Chewing lifelessly on the rabbit, she almost fell sorry for the little bopper, wondering just how easily she had gotten the rabbit. Perhaps the rabbit had fallen under the same curse as she had. Or that everything just had a fateful meaning to it. She had yet to follow the answer of the sickness.
For as she ate, she felt increasingly tired, getting all of her drowsiness from the sickness itself. Boy, this was something she really wanted to be through with. Laying her head down next to the half-eaten rabbit, giving herself a little slumber before she tried her best to make it back home for a treat from the nice gentleman back at her den. Chances were, she'd make it there tomorrow, if her chances landed right, that was. Faithful green eyes were closed for the moment, watching as though this was the first time for sleep in months. Someone will come along and cure me, she mumbled, feeling as though she was falling dreadfully ill with the feeling of despair. Hopefully, whoever came along, wasn't going to push her away because of an illness she wished not to have gotten, but something had indeed caused it to happen.

Where and in the hell was he now? His mind and paws were constantly taking him on trips he'd yet to agree with, though followed along with just for the heck of kicks, and for the hope of finding a considerable amount of water. Yet, as he gazed around, a slight frown on his lips, he realized, he had walked straight in the likes of tight knitted woods. Trees, leaves and vines were littered everywhere, yet the smell and sight of water were no where to be seen. What in the heck was he doing here? Sighing miserably, as though he were a child being dragged along by their mother into a womans clothing store, he whimpered and whined as though he had no control over the actions of his own limbs, and though they were trekking into familiar lands, he found them quite deserted lately nothing good about them anymore.
Chattering abundant, and whispered emitted, the male fought with his innerself as anger sudden rose within him. Why couldn't they all just shut the - gaze was shifted immediately toward Kiriana, the gray hued female whom he had found to be Elements mate, but had yet to fully get aquainted with. Great, more wolves to meet. Sighing deeply, he continued forward, edging toward her, as the scent of no other than food floated toward his nostrils. A rabbit? Could this be so? Food was here, and laying comfortably on the ground for him to pick up and chew, that is if that stupid mutt wasn't so close to it, mumbling grumpily, he lowered himself closer to the ground lands, driven to the source of Kiriana by the smell of food as it lie but a couple meters from him, that is if he could sneak by without being detected. Grinning widely, he found the wolf sleeping; or so she seemed as he crouched closer, snickering to himself as jaws wrapped loosely around the limp leg of the rabbit. Surely she wouldn't miss a half eaten rabbit right? Dragging at it, he watched the female with eager eyes as he slowly crept from her, ears flat against his skull as he watched himself steal a meal he felt he so rightly deserved. Nothing to fill your energy than the likes of a healthy meal...

Mmm. A quiet trance for the canadian was involved with her now daily routine, figuring out that this was indeed a weird situation that she'd been brought into. She honestly didn't like this at all, the fact that she was sick, and had really nothing. But as she slept, most of her illness crept away for a bit, with sleep, they hid away for a while after she woke up. So, with the stench of her rabbit fading from her, she lifted up one eyelid, to witness a brown colored male stealing her food that she'd had to hunt for a while, seeing as most of the prey was dead or seriously ill around here. You dirty thieving bastard! she screamed. This was something strange. For her, cussing was something that wasn't usually said by her, so he had indeed gotten her more angry than she had been in quite some time.
Through that sickness, a major headache had begun to develop inside of her mind, as she gave a warning growl to the male of a thief. He'd best give it back, unless he wanted to live any second longer. Perhaps he could be the meat he stole from her. She'd get more meat out of him, than he got out of that rabbit. Drop the bunny, you fucking savage! she told him, curling up her lips, to reveal the fangs that had been cursed with her illness. There was nothing more aggrivating than another wolf stealing her catch. He was definetly going to be very hard to deal with, if he kept stealing food from other beings, when he could just as well get his own. She'd wasted almost an hour trying to get this rabbit, finding one that was healthy enough to be her meal for the day, and he just had to steal the rest of it away. He would pay for it, that was for sure, if he didn't give it back very soon. These things weren't very easy, as she didn't ever want to physically hurt anyone, but with this illness, it came to her that she was to protect herself from this, and no one else could.

He could almost taste the sweet meat of rabbit on his tongue as he continued dragging it slowly across the swaying grasses, saliva dripping from his maw as eyes stayed locked on the sleeping beauty. If she happened to stir, he knew he'd be in more trouble than needed. Within gaining decent distance from the female, limbs were stopped in mid stride from a loud screeching, heart thumping as he stared into the likes of emerald eyes. She had woken, had caught on to Kimoto's savage plan. Ah well, no use in acting as though he were sorry. Dropping the bunny with a soft thud, the male's lip curled back in anger, eyes wide as growls could be heard from his vocal cords.
He watched as she too took to defence, lips curling back to reveil her own set of pearly whites, though Kimoto, long thick snout prepared to munch on any kind of flesh as of late could care less. His stomach was rumbling, mouth was raw, and patience level was pretty low now adays, with the added bonus of Kiriana, he could only do what his instincts were telling him, and that including fighting with this female if she choose that option. "Give it up whelp. I'm not here for a fight, only the bunny." he spoke within a loud growl. Ears were laying silently on his head, evidently he wasn't up for much of talking, compromising could be in order, as long as it involved him eating the bunny at any cause.

She's not really mean most of the time, she just gets angry for a few seconds, before it vanishes XD

She looked at the browning male, and thought he was one of those loners who just thought they could take whatever damn food they wanted and still live. But scenting of silver creek, and her best friend she'd say being Takashi, her lips held up a bit and vanished, as she looked at the boy with interest, yet a bit of flare still left in her. He was trying to steal the food that she had earned, through her sickness. The food that she was horrible at catching, because she wobbled every which way. That was the first scrap of meat she'd been able to get since that whole fever-sickness started. Catch one yourself, she mumbled, wanting him to let her be, so she could rest quietly. She had no sympathy over much, and she didn't want anyone to ever touch anything that was hers. Especially her family. And, since it was just a bunny, and he wasn't there to hurt element or akeboshi, then she felt no need to be protective.
Although, being called whelp did hit her pretty hard, as she wasn't a very nice one to be called something so sinister. She wasn't used to such names from when she was a child, since she wasn't around many others. Then take it, not like I need it, she mumbled, although she was infinitely telling a lie, since her stomach was quite skinny from this sickness, because she couldn't hunt very well on her own, and usually had to make element get food for her, but she usually insisted that she try, and normally failed. She'd go home anyways, and tell element that she'd caught food and already ate it. I'd suggest sharing, but you may end up eating the whole thing anyways, she commented, her eyes focusing on the brown male, wondering just how cruel he may have been if she dared to pounce at him.

His lips slowly came together, teeth no longer visible as he watched the brown female, azures piercing her own green, wondering just what was going through her mind. Was she planning something to catch him off guard, or maybe she had come to the conclusion that allowing a bunny to pass from under her nose wasn't as bad as causing pain to her own self. Allowing a smirk to pass over his maw now as her meek voice was heard, he picked the meal up into his jaws, knowing that for once he was able to eat someone else's catch without a fight. Maybe she wasn't so dumb after all. Blood stayed his tawny pelt as he dug in, cleaning up much of the meat she had left behind, before belly full, he tossed the bones aside. Ears lowered back on his skull as he settled onto strong haunches.
Gaze was brought back toward Kiriana, her words once again coming to his ears. She was right about her last comment, Kimoto wasn't up for sharing anything he had rightfully stole, though at least he was curtious. "Well your right about that one. But thanks for the meal. I really needed it" he spoke now, a lick issued to his blood stained maw, tasting the iron fluid on his tongue before he continued on. "The names Kimoto, from the lands of Silver Creek...And you?" before he was silent. Now content, and belly full, nothing worked like a bit of conversation. |

She was a pretty bitchy pest whenever something went wrong, so this was a strange meeting indeed. She would rarely get mad without the sickness, and that was the first time she'd ever called someone a name, or said a cuss word that wasn't in french towards someone. She was a frenchie and she didn't like to exploit it when someone was around, but she had no clue she spoke french whilst she was in her sick stage, so it felt a bit strange to be able to understand what was happening around her. Maybe it was just that she felt like a loner out on these parts now that element wasn't out there and saving her from the dangers that the outside caused to her mind. Besides, she had been filled with pride when she'd gotten that catch, but now that she'd given up and given it to an outsider, she felt a bit depressed.
The words that flew from his mouth, made her quirk a brow in an odd response. What? He needed it? What about her, she needed it too. She'd had a hard time catching her food for the last month or so, and she'd finally gotten her own, instead of making element go out and get it for her, or finding someone who had caught something and was actually willing to let her eat the leftovers. Your welcome; but don't think you'll be getting free food that often, she replied, a small twitch to her lip, as he introduced himself. Silver Creek, hmm? He must know Takashi. I'm Kiriana, Mount Shadow, she replied with a small smile, as she quirked a brow, interested in the silver creeker, but moreso the creeker that she knew more. How is Takashi Keizo doing?

His lips pursed, ears perking as he felt the rabbit's protein cycling through his veins. It felt good to be filled with food again, especially because this was truely what he needed. His blood sugar was suprisingly low nowadays, and he needed as much vitamins, and proteins he could get, even if that meant stealing from an innocent wolf, or an innocent wolf sleeping who soon woke up and tried scarying him but failed miserably, and in the end gave the food up. He was thankful to Kiriana for this, never had someone given him a gift, especially if it was already taken. Ears perking, than finally lowering as he took in her words.
"Yeah. Thank you. I'm sure I won't be needing to steal from someone else again" he answered, licking at his mouth, before he heard of her calling. Pretty indeed, though nothing compared to that one special lady he'd often called his mate. "Nice to see you, Kira, mind if I call you that. Too many letters in the other one" a smirk, a nod and he fell silent. Only speaking when she had brought the subject of Takashi. The name sounded so familiar. "Oh..he's..fine" brow lifted a bit when he answered this. How was he to know how Taka was fairing, it wasn't as if he kept a tag on the male...right? |

It wasn't that she was mad at him for stealing the bunny, it was just the fact that he hadn't asked that made it stealing. If he'd asked for it, she would've given it to him freely, instead of getting all pissy about him stealing her food. She was a free-willed soul, able to normally do normal stuff. But lately, since she'd had this sickness, she'd been a tad different to pretty much everyone. She wasn't able to do much since her sickness, as Element told her that much. She'd gone rock-climbing, that was a mistake. She'd injured her paw in doing so, and now she basically crippled whenever she decided to walk on her feet. Since then, she'd taken it slow in doing anything around the lands that resulted in pain, so she basically tried to walk her pain off, instead of climbing to get the pain off. She didn't think that climbing would help her paw.
I don't think you'd be forgiven very easily if it wasn't me, she answered with a small laugh to her comment, obviously amused that she forgave too easily to others. She just hated to be hated, so she guessed it was the best idea if she were friendly to others instead of being all bitchy to them. I certainly don't mind for my name to be shortened, as most do it often anyways, out of habit, she responded, obviously knowing that many called Kiri or Ana, just because her name was a tad long for someone to call her Kiriana all the time. Hearing that Takashi was fine, and seeing a rather quizzical look on the creeker, she pulled her head up then down. I know its weird to ask you how he is, he's just a really good friend of mine, and I haven't talked to him in a while, indeed, they were extremely good friends. Seeing that Takashi Keizo had been chosen by herself to be the godfather of her future pups, if she ever had any.

A brow cocked at Kiri's words. Just what was she trying to say? Did she consider Kimoto to be a horrible robber or something, or maybe she was criticizing him...either one, he felt rather odd commenting to it, and simplying ignored her words. Yawning broadly only when she finished her statement. Of course Kira was a much better nickname for Kiriana than well..anything else it was much easier on Kimoto's memory. Especially considering the fact this virus was trying to beat him over, and he just wouldn't allow this to happen. The reason he hadn't asked her for it, was possibly because he figured her to deny him the privilage, and this he just couldn't risk. He needed something to eat, and whether it came from another jaws or was dying from days of heat, he'd eat it up with ease. Content for another day that his belly was full.
Lowering himself to his belly slowly, the male waited for his digestive system to began working, before he spoke. Nothing like a burp to interupt your conversation eh? "Yeah, Taka's a great friend of mine as well, though I havent seen him in a while. You could always go visit Silver Creek and see how he is..." he trailed off, knowing this to be partially true. As long as Kira stayed respective, and waited at the borders he didn't see a reason why she could enter. "Your from Mount Shadow right...? You know Atraiyu?" he questioned, noticing how few he actually knew from the Shadow lands. Besides of course Atra, and this new guy Element. Oh, and he couldn't forget Cypress. ^^ |

For the things that she believed that she could do, she had to believe in something. Occasionally, she felt a tad overwhelmed, just because she'd been stuck in every place in the valley. But it seemed that the encounter they were having now, was rather self-explanatory. Considering that he thought he could walk into her sleeping area, and take her food that she spent a possible two hours trying to catch - which was why she was resting. It wasn't like she was naturally mean or anything, she just didn't appreciate someone taking the meat that she worked so hard for. But seeing that he was sick too, brought a possibly remedy to her, saying that he could eat it, only because he was sick, and would have little energy and skills to actually catch one himself. But if he were to take that food if he weren't sick, he would've faced the end.
But now things were looking better for the two, as the conversation brewed into the air, it wasn't a horrible one, nor a great one. It was a bit boring actually. Listening to the answer from kimoto, she narrowed her eyes a bit. He said that as though he thought she was a third degree idiot. I don't want to go and meet with him, I just wanted to know how he was doing, she commented, and it was slightly snappy towards the silver creeker. She wasn't about to go onto the silver creek territory and howl for takashi and immediately demand that she see Takashi. Though, she did hope that he was doing fine as the boy said. Yes; I know Atraiyu, she answered, before a sudden howl waited up into the air.
Shit, she mumbled, as she looked at the boy. Though, she was happy that she had to leave. Thats 'em, I gotta go, it was..er, nice talking to you, she said, as she turned on her heels, gave a nice roll of her eyes, and ran off in the direction of Mount Shadow. Boy - that was a strange conversation.

Clearing his throat, his head cocked to the side as he listened to her words. well, aren't I just supposed to be your messenger? his mind snapped, licking at his dry maw before he spoke. "Oh, and I stated that he was doing fine...if you didn't catch that" he could tell she was beginning to feel irritated, and this he could really care less. Kimoto was the victim here, not Kira. His attention was directed elsewhere, as he grew bored of this female, had he known what she was thinking though, he would be sure to kick her arse simply for referring to him as a boy. Though this he could let pass, trying to read her mind was useless, especially since suddenly she grew restless. What the hell was wrong with her?
"Yeah. Likewise...I think. Bye Kira" he yelled, lifting apon all fours quickly to leave the scene of the crime. He didn't need his pawprints found anywhere near the robbery scene. Back home to Silver Creek we go he thought, feeling the bunny swishing around in his tummy as he walked. |
