All Welcome. Preferably someone that Wip has already met.

What was this place. Her lilac eyes, which appeared to not even be lilac anymore for they had darkened so much, flicked around, trying to study the place in which she felt trapped within. It was dark and her stomach tossed with the disgusting smell which filtered through her nose. She had woken up in here, in some sort of den or some kind, yet she did not recognize, and could only smell the scent of a male the strongest. She growled, wanting to warn him not to come near her. However, she looked around him and no one was there beside her, this relieved her.

She stepped out of the den, which she ordinarily called her home and began to walk the lands of Silver Creek. Her eyes looked around in wonderment, not recognizing this place in the least. Where the heck was she and where were her mother and father. Where were her brothers and sisters, Wip had been born only six months ago and she wasn't used to be alone like this. She was only half a year old, yet she knew that safety was in numbers and as she stood in the moonlight, she trembled, thinking of whether or not she should howl for her father.

I really shouldn't be adding another thread to my already huge list but I couldn't resist the chance for a Wip thread. :]

With a lopsided smile on his lips and a swagger in his steps, Chehalis descended the Mountain which he'd dubbed his port of call. Granted, he had no ship to speak of but he was in the market for one. That was good enough, right? Right. In any case, the Captain lifted his muzzle to greet the fresh evening air. A light southern breeze drifted in across the Valley, cooling his fur and helping him to avoid the thought of his hangover. He'd told himself not to eat the damned berries but lo' he just couldn't resist -- temptation had gotten the better of him. Not an unlikely occurance, mind you.

In anycase, he traversed the Valley rather casually, tail swinging back and forth just like his swaying sort of walk. He was in no rush to get anywhere and just what his destination was, Capt'n Chehalis wasn't quite sure. But with the thought that he would eventually end up somewhere was good enough for him. Perhaps he would find some good company to chat with for the night was still young... enough.

Chehalis crossed the borders with nigh but a fuss, paying no heed to the clearly marked line. It wasn't like he was tresspassing or anything, land was land. Now, if it was a ship, now that would be a different story. Y'can't jus' go on other folk's ships without permission, unless you were a pirate of course... Oh, that's right, he was. No worries then!

He'd been so wrapped up in his thoughts over the right and wrong way to go about things that he almost walked right past the figure standing rather frozen just a few yards away from him. The Mexican paused, ears swiveling forward atop his head and one paw dangling over the ground as he peered at the lass. She looked a bit lost to say the least, like someone had dumped her in the middle of this here wood. Hmm, peculiar. He took a few steps towards her, a smile still alight on his lips. "Oi lass, you alright? Y'seem to be a tad lost."

She searched her surroundings for an indication that she was somewhere she recognized. She looked for something familiar and sniffed the air for a scent that wasn't completely foreign to her, however so far the pup was having no luck. She shook her head as she wondered if she was still dreaming, because surely she couldn't have just woken up somewhere different right? The possibility that her whole pack just got up and abandoned her was completely stupid, since she was Yelsaveta, she was to be the one to lead the pack later on. They wouldn't dare leave her!

However her train of thought was lost when she heard the presence of someone else. She had no sniffed him out sooner since all of the smells around her were different, she had just placed it atop that pile, however whens he heard his clear voice and saw him approach a variety of solutions began to circle her head. She would stand her ground, she could take this brute couldn't she. Yelsaveta puffed out her chest and held her head up high as she tried to make the voice which threatened to tremble almost authoritive. You there! Get off my land. All of this, it's mine. Now get off. Lost! Are you crazy who gets lost on their own Kingdom? Now tell me, what presents have you brought me?

I hope you don't mind Cep being thrown in, especially at this point. xD I had a sudden muse-attack and couldn't resist.

For the second time during the sickness, she had stumbled onto another pack's lands, and ironically enough, this was also the second time during the sickness that she had ventured over to Silver Creek's lands. She wondered whether the magnetic force that the swamp contained was also taking effect here - in any case, she didn't doubt it. However, since the obsidian female had yet to see any of those moving trees, she was confident that it was at least safe to come here. During her wanderings, she had started to 'ponder' exactly what the cause of all this was. Perhaps it was the flu...but a rendition of the flu that was definitely worse than anything she had ever experienced before. Yes, it simply had to be! In that case, perhaps she could ward it off through some strong and convincing dialogue. ”Shoo, flu, shoo, go 'way!” she yelled, nearly stumbling into a tree as she stared up at the sky.

Oh, god! It was the return of the moving trees! She bolted away as quickly as possible, weaving away from the homicidal plants - to no avail, as there seemed to be quite a few of them, no matter which direction she turned in. Deception yelped as she saw a particularly old and foreboding one coming straight towards her at what seemed suspiciously similar to the speed of light. She jumped and hoped that she would somehow be able to move in slow motion and kick off of the tree, a la Matrix. All she succeeded in doing was crashing into it and crumpling to the ground. She stood up and, fortunately, wasn't seriously hurt. She fled from the tree and once again shouted, ”Shoo, flu, shoo, go away!” She failed to notice the two wolves that were currently nearby.

Sorry for the wait guys. I'm at my dad's house again and his internet connection is dreadful. So I'm writing this from a computer at his work. I apologize for the shortness in advance, gotta get this in quick.

What the blazes was this wolf going on about? Her kingdom? As far as Chehalis was concerned, Kingdoms didn't exist in this place; merely ports and other small villages. So who was she to say she owned this so-called Kingdom? Then again, perhaps these ports were all part of a whole. But that didn't make any sense at all... Chehalis blinked a few times, head cocked at an angle as he regarded the rather pompous female. "Right then." A pause, amber eyes peering curiously at the female. "Apparently I didn't get the memo."

It was then he heard the rather noisy sound of someone or something rustling through the forest. The Captain turned, ears perked and gaze curiously scanning the dark forest for any sign of movement -- there, beyond that tree a dark shape was moving at a rather drunk'n pace. Chehalis stared, face stoic as he watched the wolfess dart away from a tree, telling it off in a manner of "shoo flu, go away". Flu? What flu? Was there some sort of epidemic going around this here "kingdom" or were this wolves merely mad. He smirked, shaking his head.

What had he gotten himself into this time?

x-posted:Sorry for the hold up, life caught up with me and whipped my ass.

She was really scared out of her wits. Where the hell was her father when she needed him to protect her? Or even her older brother. He was the one that was supposed to be her own personal guardian and here she was, in some place she couldn’t even recognize, confronted with a huge male wolf who probably wanted to eat her so that he could absorb her magical abilities, and no one was in sight. She couldn’t even smell them, all she smelled was the same strange scent of Silver Creek, and she had even failed to notice that the scent was all over her own coat. Yet, it seemed to be working, this façade that she owned this place, whatever it was, because the male didn’t seem threatening. At least not yet, but she wondered if he had brought her something.

She was just about to demand that he present his presents once more when she heard another wolf off in the distance. And to her horror it was a black wolf. Yelsaveta’s eyes widened as she gulped and she heard it scream, and she ducked down to the ground in fear, putting her paws over her eyes as she began to sob. Why had her family left her? Was this some sort of test? One wolf she may have been able to handle but two wolves? Her brother had told her about the evil wolf of the under world who sported a black pelt, and she was scared he had come to take her now. Please don’t hurt me! I’m only six months old!

From the orange-eyed male, she hardly received much of a reaction - he had only shaken his head with a smirk across his face - and because of that, she was relieved. After all, the obsidian female didn't consider herself crazy, and if anyone else did, she would have been rather baffled, to say the least. She was really rather proud of herself for speculating long enough to figure out that there was some sort of flu going around! All right, so she hadn't been completely specific or correct, and she had by no means been the first, but in her rather useless mind, she believed all but the last statement. The only peculiar thing was that not everyone was affected by it - perhaps it picked at the weak! No, that was impossible, she was by no means weak...so this section of the speculation was back to square one.

Her gaze quickly turned towards the female wolf as she cowered, complete with the covered-eyes tactic, apparently at the sight of Deception. Momentarily, she seemed to be either crying or very close to crying. Things got even stranger as she pleaded not to be harmed, and said that she was only six months old. Forgetting to assure her that she was safe, Cep simply said, ”You don't look six months old.” She had never been expecting this situation - or this day as a whole - to get any crazier, but lo and behold, it just had. This wolf simply could not have been a pup; she was a full-sized adult and had a much better grasp on grammar and pronunciation than many six-month-olds. She couldn't have been completely right in the head.

Woot. :D

These wolves were out of their blasted minds. The first one, a so-called princess of her "kingdom", demanding presents and whatnot. Right, like he was going to give her a bit of his plunder. Highly unlikely considering her rather uncooth attitude about it. Chehalis turned to regard the black wolfess with a bit of a quirked brow -- she was just crazy, albeit thick in the head perhaps. The Captain turned away, about to saunter off when the supposed "younger" of the two began to cry, practically digging herself a hole in the ground to hide from the more recently arrived wolfess.

He turned back, padding over to the crying wolfess, shooting the other a look that clearly stated "well? are you going to help or stand there like a dolt?" If it was one thing Chehalis couldn't stand, it was a woman crying. That action either meant that something horrible had befallen them and they needed some sort of assistance or they were just tryin' to be annoying. Either way, it was a grating sound. The Captain lowered his muzzle, reaching a paw over to place it gently on the other's shoulder. "Don't worry lass, no one 'ere is goin' t'hurt you. Not with me around."
