She had spent the night sobbing, wondering why she had been handed this fate. Life had seemed so good not so long ago, she had gotten everything she wanted. Well, not everything, but for a pup, the life that had been handed to Wip had been a good one. She had gotten to train with the best fighter in the pack, and gotten to learn from the most revered storyteller, and had been allowed to be the little princess amongst her brothers and sisters. It had been decreed that someday she would be the leader of Huttser’s Path Pack, and so her siblings had been told to treat her as if she walked on water. This was wonderful when her father was around, however, there were those few times when they caught up with her and she was alone.
She had never tried to act as if she were stuck up, however she was given privileges that her brothers and sisters hadn’t gotten, and that caused rivalries to occur. And so Wip always tried to avoid meeting up with them when there wasn’t an adult around. Because no matter how much she had been trained to fight, she could not take all of her litter mates. Besides, it was the feeling of not being loved that hurt her the most, and all because she had been born with a peculiar eye color. It wasn’t fair. However, no matter how tortured she felt amongst her brothers and sisters, she still missed having something familiar around, even if that familiarity brought dread.

For once, she had actually stayed at home rather than wandering out to the mutual lands or to another pack's territory, and so she was finally calm. There had been many hectic and panicky days - mainly her own fault - due to her strong belief in the moving trees and the magnetism conspiracy. Here in the 'Fields, she felt far more secure, as if nothing was wrong and no strange occurrences were going to happen. Perhaps she would even choose to spend most of the day sleeping...but then she remembered just how great of a time she had been having while jumping around, and decided that rest was for the weak. With that decision made, she ran in circles and chased her tail a few times before running off to see what she would find in the 'Fields today.
She ran in a zigzagging line, not veering too far off-course, but also not bothering to really keep track of where she was going, or how and in which direction she was running. The world was her running ground, it seemed, and she felt as if she was walking on air and living off of pure sunshine and joy. But, also, she was rather disoriented. Her vision had started to blur slightly and she had stumbled over her own feet and into flower patches more than a few times. Upon realizing this, her mood dropped slightly, but it didn't impair her so much that she couldn't jog. And so she continued to do so - but she stopped when she came upon another female, who was vaguely familiar, and looked rather depressed about something. So the obsidian female simply asked, ”What's wrong?”

Out of Character ramblings.

In Character prose.
Strawberries, strawberries, and more strawberries. Niish just couldn't get enough of them. While the Field were no longer completely engulfed by the countless bushes that were covered in ripe strawberries, there were still enough on which the slender wolf could gorge. He had been running around all morning, chomping down all sorts of strawberries, including those that were still unripe, and those that were now overripe. His trek had taken him from his den in the northern corner of the Strawberry Fields all the way down to the bottom of the territory, and partway back again. He was following an erratic pattern, moving to wherever he saw a new clump of berry bushes.
It was while he was working his way back up the Fields that he caught the scent of a wolf that he knew. Deception was nearby! Snapping up a last few mouthfuls of somewhat rotten strawberries, Niish ran after the female's scent. After a few minutes he came upon the wolf as black as night and another less familiar lupine. Grinning wildly to himself at having been able to successfully track his friend, a few stray berries tumbled out of his open maw. Loping over to where the two wolves were located, he too noticed the melancholy look on the strange wolf. Well, there was a way to fix that! "You look thad. Do you wan thome thrawbewwieth?" Niish spoke with his mouth full, eager to share some of his good food with his new friend. "Thrabewwieth make evewthing berrer," he stated matter-of-factly, squirting slightly pungent berry juice everywhere.

Wow. This thread isn't moving fast...Let's hope I help it moooovvveee

Dathan padded along in the fields, smiling all the while. Though he smiled, something seemed to be troubling him. He had lost something, really...It was small...and it had nicely colored eyes and it was mighty cute...Where had it gone to?
AHA! He looked over to see a cute little pup (In his eyes) sitting sadly with a group of other young wolves. "My pup!" Dathan cheered happily, padding over to Wip. He had missed her so terribly. He had spent the night looking for his long lost daughter, and now, she was right there!
He padded up beside her, and laid down. He frowned when he saw how sad she looked. It wasn't very good too see your pretty daughter sad, was it? No. It made him very sad. He curled up closer to her, and gave her a small nudge. "What's wrong, hunny?"
