ooc. This is all welcome for all Shadow wolves who want to know what the cure is, and how to find it. If you don't join this pack, then you can just assume that some pack member has told your character. (:
ic. After talking to Chogan for a while, and deciding how they would tell the four packs of the Salvajes the cure for the widely-spread disease that had come to the lands, Fei had ran towards the reeds, and had stuffed as much of it as she could into her mouth, so that she could bright it to Mount Shadow (afterwards, she'd go back to fetch some more, and then take it to Silver Creek). Pride and excitement shot through her white figure as she thought of finally ending the disease with merely the cutting reeds that were held in her jaw. It had taken her a while to decide whether to bring the cure to Mount Shadow first, or to Silver Creek first, because she had been/was a member of both packs, at one point. Her tail wagged behind her as she sprinted as quickly as she could (dropping as little of the precious reeds as she could manage) towards her homelands.
Soon enough, she reached the familiar mountain, and soon found a tall rock that she could stand on, to lift her closer to the skies, to let her call be heard with more ease. Fei dropped the bundle of plants on the rock, after bounding atop it, and immediantly put a paw over it, so that it wouldn't be blown away. Her ears twitched when she heard Chogan's howl faintly, and decided it was time for herself to do the same. Licking her lips a few times to rid her tongue of the odd taste, she tilted her head up towards the sky, squinting against the glare of the afternoon sun. A squeaky, high-pitched howl soon escaped her. The end of this disease was near.

AND WHEN THE SKY IS FALLING DONT LOOK OUTSIDE THE WINDOW
She'd honestly never found herself actually wanting to be cured, having forced herself into believing, only sometimes, that she was really sick. Element kept forcing her into knowing that she was very sick, but she refused to believe it. A few times she went along with it, saying that she was sick and that she did have it pretty bad, but the feeling came in went. Like, for the moment she was on a good streak. She had only a small headache, and the rest of her was perfectly fine. Element would have to come and join up with her, as she trailed along the mount, going towards the sound of the call from a small pup, yet, she had no clue who. Arsenio had said that a ton of the puppies had gotten together to try and help them, Kiriana wasn't sure to believe him or not, but obviously that was the best way to go, seeing that a puppy was now calling. Perhaps it was Akeboshi, Leviathan, or the two other mount shadow puppies that she had not met - at least to her. Since she knew February as living in the silver creek, and didn't know that she had switched over to mount shadow.
Upon arriving at the designated place, Kiriana saw a pale white figure, and immediately thought it was one of the newer pups, since Akeboshi was golden and leviathan was of a much larger size. Coming slowly, as much as her body could take her - up the mount, and towards the pup, she realized it was February herself coming from silver creek - though she thought - even though February had transferred to Mount Shadow, all because of a certain adoption. Things were funny in that way, that Kiriana hadn't really kept anything in memory because of the sickness she bore. So, this was a strange surprise. Hey Febs, she murmured, looking at the arctic pup with gentle, yet confused eyes, What choo' got there? An honest question, since Kiriana had no clue what the small pup was holding down with her paw, so it was only natural that she ask the question.

Chehalis had been basking in the warmth of the sun, sprawled out across a particularly flat slab of granite located in the higher reaches of the territory. Here, where the sun was barely obscured by the trees, Chehalis slept. His dreams were filled with swashbuckling pirates and rum, ah yes. Don't forget about the rum. His leg twitched a bit, kicking at the dust and dirt that was spread across his ledge as he imagined he was hijacking a ship, the captain of said ship at the business end of his sword. Yo-ho, yo-ho a pirate's life for me...
He jerked awake suddenly, shooting up into a standing position, amber eyes wide with shock -- wassat?! He whirled around once, peering over the ledge, ears perked and at rapt attention. It was a howl, a pup's howl and the message seemed to hold very much importance. Chehalis blinked a few times before bounding down off the slab and into the woods, following the sound of the howl. He soon came upon the alabaster pup of which was sitting upon a raised rock. The tawny Tau blinked a few more times before glancing over at Kiriana of whom had appeared just about the same moment he had. "Yeah, I'm gonna hafta second that question there..."

ooc. hey you guys! If anyone else wants to jump in- feel free to. (:
ic. Excitement made the young pup impatient, and as she stood there, she temporarily satisfied her enthusiasm by merely wagging her tail, and attempting to bite the occasional butterfly that flew by. She glanced curiously around her, willing the Mount Shadow wolves to come sooner, as fast as they could. Fei wanted the sickness to be over with now! She almost leapt off the rock so that she could bound around, but she remembered the precious pile of reeds beneaeth her paw, and kept it there, not wanting to wind to blow it all away. Not only would it waste time, but she'd also have to go all the way back to the origin on these plants, and Fei wouldn't be too happy with that, because she felt slightly tired from coming here already.
Soon enough, a familiar Shadow wolf- Kiriana, came into view. February brightened and parted her jaws to reply, when all of a sudden she realized that some strange wolf had come into view. She blinked at them both, at a lost for a moment, before feeling a sudden burst of energy. Tail wagged nonstop behind her as she exclaimed loudly, "We foun' the cure! We foun' the cure! Cho an' I foun' the cure!" The expression on her face as contagiously happy and joyous, and she lowered her head to nose the pile of reeds at her paws. "We tested these on a rabbi' and it became better!"
Importantly, she puffed out her chest and looked at the two older wolves in the eye, serious bright blue eyes meeting Kiriana and the stranger's, hoping that her look would let them believe her. They had to! Not knowing that Kiriana was a bit sick already, she pondered over how many sick wolves there were in the mountain, and helpfully offered, "If yew guys don't think this is enou', I can go and get some more."

Although she was beginning to feel that she was losing everything. Element and her barely talked much, so now it was getting to be an issue. Seeing a strange face, she quirked a brow at the lone ranger, and wondered just why February was out here all alone with a few plants. It seemed that the newcomer had come to see what february excuse was for bringing those plants into mount shadow. Quirking a brow at the white female pup, it almost seemed like Kiriana was meant to be here, between looking at February, as obvious as it was, February seemed to think that there might be a very small crowd that had answered to her call. A cure? Kiriana almost felt her heart fly into the air. A cure! But - maybe she had to get over her disapproval of being sick, like element kept telling her she was sick.
You and Chogan found a cure? she asked rhetorically, almost in disbelief, but hearing the rabbit part of the cue, she pulled her head up into a foul disbelief. Tested it on a rabbit? That wasn't exactly the same thing, but Kiriana had heard from element that a few prey were caught with the symptoms seeing that they weren't very fast in their running anymore. It became better? she asked, as her green eyes flew around the area almost believing that this was something that Element needed to witness. Its enough for me, she mumbled, as she moved forward, taking a small bit of the emerald colored leaves from beneath the pups paws.
With ease, she began to chew on the leaf a bit, noticing that it tasted very foul to chew on and then swallow it. I don't notice anything, am I supposed to? she asked silently, as she scooted backwards with another plant in her mouth, as she dropped it at Chehalis' feet. Here you go, she said, as she looked at the plant, then at February. Thank you, February for this, although she didn't know if it would work or not, it was at least the idea that Chogan and February tried to find it if it didn't work.

Leah fails 'cause she forgets to put threads in her post logs. O_o;

Chehalis stood there, shell shocked at the notion that the pup had just told them. A cure, they'd found a cure! No more headaches, no more wondering if you're going to die because a friend decided to turn on you due to the voices in their head. No more getting drunk off of rum... wait, where had that come from? Oh, right. Exactly. He didn't know because he was sick! But there was a cure and it was right infront of him. A wide smile split across his lips as he fought the urge to run up, tackle the white pup and smother her in licks and kisses.
It was then that Kiriana dropped some of the miracle medicine at his feet ad Chehalis, desperate to rid himself of the vile illness, immediately scooped up the green plant in his mouth and began to chew. It was quite putrid tasting but then again, what kind of medicine was supposed to taste good? Not many. He swallowed, not really feeling any different than before. But he was an optimist and thus, he knew it was working. He turned to Kiriana, nodding before looking up at February. Thank you so much February. You did a whole lot for us, you and Chogan did. Y'saved the whole dang Valley!

ooc. jaq does that too. D: It ain't fun.
ic. She couldn't help but feel unexpected pride when she heard the words that came from both adults. However, Kiriana's actions surprised Fei- was the older female sick? If she was, why wasn't she pretending to be a pirate or something equally insane? Still, February didn't remark upon it, not knowing that the female was mildly ill. "I'mma not sure how long it'll take," she admitted, before further elaborating, "See, we fe' the rabbits at night, and when we wo'e, they weren't sick no more!" Her tail wagged faster as the memory came back to her mind- she had felt so excited, so happy, just like she felt right now.
She turned to look at the Mount Shadow male, blinking when he swallowed it too- was he sick? Maybe they were only seeing what it tasted like. "Yew guys can find these ree's anywhere neer sickish wate'," she informed, looking up at the sky and deciding that it was almost time to head towards Silver Creek. She should go soon. She watched the two, waiting to see what they were going to do, and then she would set off towards the other packlands.

Now I'm listening to "Grand Theft Autumn" by Fall Out Boy :)
In all this excitement, Kiriana didn't know how to handle all of this. She was so excited to finally be cured, in the fact that everyone in the valley would be saved. She'd have to alert the rest of mount shadow, and bring the medicine along with Chehalis and February to every wolf in the mount. Everyone needed to be cured immediately, and strangely Kiriana hadn't really felt dizzy or out of place now and Kiriana had a faint clue that february was right in the offense that this really was a cure to their sickness. They were lifesavers, and that was always a good plus for the puppies. It gave Kiriana more of a reason to have puppies sometime next summer, just because they could really help out with the valley if ever the time came. But for now, they were just as eager as anything born to live more days than usual. Looking over at Chehalis, she couldn't help but grin.
February, Kiriana spoke up, you saved mount shadow, and the other packs, from a serious illness, and if everyone were here right now, they'd all tell you that your a hero, she responded. It was all true as well, knowing the whole valley would come to February and Chogan telling them that they were the heroes of a lifetime, curing the illness from all wolves of the valley. Hearing February talk about where to get the reeds, she calmly nodded, and began to reply. I guess I'll go off in search of the reeds, and feed the rest of Mount Shadow, care to join me, chehalis? February, perhaps you could continue your brave work and continue on with us to get these to the rest of the mount? she asked, hoping that everyone hadn't gone too far into the sickness, and that they would all be cured in no time.

ooc. This thread's been here for quite a long time. :/ -skips Leah- xD And this'll be my last post! <3
ic. Pride flared vaguely within the young arctic pup when she heard Kiriana's kind compliments. She smiled shyly, and instinctively murmured, "Naw, it's nothin' much, really." Tail wagged, and she glanced up wearily at the sky. She frowned- it was about time to go, that was for sure. She still had another pack to get to, and the sickness had already devastated quite a lot of the mountain. Nervously, she shook her head when she heard the tawny female's suggestion. Would she be angry that February wouldn't go along with her suggestions? "Sorry, I'm g'nna get going to Silver Creek- they still need the cure."
She dipped her head in apology, and her tail wagged behind her in a simple goodbye, lips curling into a grin. She trusted that these two wolves would get the cure to the rest of the pack, and that the disease would no longer be a problem to them. Tail wagged faster, and with one last sweeping glance, she darted off, eager to show Silver Creek Chogan and her discovery.
