(Hó'nehe members preferably, but all welcome. :3)
Isadora's heartbeat rate increased as she walked on, pelt dipped in shadow, green eyes the only thing seen with clarity. She could see a faint light that grew larger and was finally shone onto the white wolf as she exited the tunnel, and still she walked on, lingering on strange scents that she couldn't place a paw on. For a moment, confusion suffused her eyes, though her expression itself was as per normal; a void of nothing. Her senses seemed - disconnected, somehow, and she lowered her frame to a sitting position. She, herself, seemed disconnected from the world, and it was a confusing emotion, being unable to judge where she was clearly.
Her eyes saw the area for what it was, yes, but her senses still seemed - clogged by something; no headache, just a blinding emptiness. Her eyes blinked on, her breaths getting less ragged, and finally she sat back and then rose again. That was weird. Had the atmosphere done this to her? No; still standing there, unmoving, Isadora would have simply looked as if she were resting, not trying to figure out what had just happened. To occupy her thoughts, Dora observed all that was around her. The atmosphere, she thought to herself, slightly bemused; it was a strange, quiet atmosphere, despite the scents that were found. It occurred to her that perhaps she should turn back, though the scents were faint, as if they hadn't deigned to stretch out this far, or perhaps few had done so.

I hope Hawk is alright for you. :)
Although it was strange for the breed—though not for the Salvaje Wolves he guessed, who were the accurate definition of backward—Hawkspur missed his mother. He missed the connection he had with her, the closeness, the way that they had been each others rocks during the hardest of times. And now, she was gone. She had left him and gone after that, despite the fact that he had promised to come back and release her from its charge. And she had in effect tarnished every living memory her devoted son ever had of her by doing so. He still had Zyanya and Leoti, but the former was too busy with her Priestess duties and prancing about with that pansy, Rowtag and Leoti was the same with his soul-brother to pay him much attention.
Though he was stalking about the place in an unfavourable mood and not really wishing for anyone to disturb it, or him, it would descend on his attention that he wasn't alone any longer. At first the signs where too faint too care about, drowned out the myriad of other things going on in his head. But once the aroma of the pests began to curl overwhelming amongst his dual nasal canals, he snapped his headpiece up to find another one of them standing up on their lands. Again. Granted, he'd never seen this one before but he wasn't about to give her the benefit of the doubt of being ignorant to their existence or borders any longer. As many had said, they were the talk of idiot valley, after all.
Moving toward her—and assuming she had stood to move further into Hó'nehe-htso'e—he quite cruelly slipped into the tongue his mother had taught him and gruffly growled, "Tosa'e netao'setsêhe'ohtse?"

(Yay. XD :3)
Was it her, or was the other wolf speaking gibberish? - and then said in a (distracted) reply, "Erm, to you too." Heck, if the other wolf wanted to play foreigner let it be so, but it was said in an unmistakably hostile tone that made her think that it was more a trick than something genuine. She knew a bit of foreign tongue herself, though it wasn't this one (Japanese, from a wolf that had fallen into Bird's Call due to sheer misfortune, as Dora had privately thought).
Dora's mind was still whirring about in a splitting headache, still drawing in deep breaths as if she were panting, though other than that she looked perfectly fine; she was getting better as each moment passed, more confident and able to produce sharp comments without gasping for breath - which, as you could probably tell, ruined their effect. But, still, her mind wasn't on the other wolf. It was the strange sensation she had felt earlier, as if she had been almost in reach of something important, and yet it had slipped out of her mind's grasp, a most annoying feeling indeed. Isadora enjoyed puzzles, but something told her that this one would be very hard to crack. Sighing audibly, forgetting she was in the company of another wolf, she was about to turn back (not on her paws, but mentally) when she finally noticed the other wolf for the first time. She blinked. ...Eh? But her eyes betrayed nothing but a cool surface, speaking nothing of her emotions or intentions. This post has been edited by Isadora on Nov. 03, 2006 - 3:50am

"Erm, to you too." Hawkspur almost muttered something totally inappropriate in response to that, but instead managed to summon the self-restraint that enabled him to swallow it, before it ever got out. Instead, the flick of his tail became harsher against the air as he stalked forward; lowering his headpiece, flattening his lovely ears and his hackles began to prickle threateningly. It should've been plain for her to see that this wasn't any welcoming party, since he didn't want her to be here. Not now and definitely not ever. "I said…"—spoken as if she should've known all along—"Where are you going?"
Because it sure as hell looks like you're going somewhere. Then came the re-iteration that he must have said a thousand times before to the same bunch of pansies, that somehow still didn't have a bleeding clue what they were doing wrong. At least this one had yet to produce the explanation that "they didn't know they where here" or "I thought you where ghosts". Because that had gotten really old, really fast and never ceased to really get under his prickling skin. "This is Hó'nehe lands and you and yours are not welcome here. You bunch of idiots should have realised that by now."

Isadora arched her brows. Well, excu-u-use me for not knowing your language. "Me? Ah... Well..." She glanced around. "I wasn't actually going to go anywhere." Like she'd know where to go - like she'd want to, with this splitting headache. What could she tell this hostile male? Sure, the scents had hit her, but they were so alien to her - and not to mention the headache - she had just thought it a weird piece of nature had landed right smack in middle of nowhere in the Salvajes. She knew Nova Mountain was nearby - she had scented it, but avoided the pack territory and borders, and had instead found a little green (or rather red-brown, since it was autumn) spot to suffer a headache in.
The throb wasn't even letting up. "My apologies, then." Inwardly, she twitched out of the hurt of her head, but on the outside she displayed no trace of weakness, or pain, apart from her earlier twitching of her right eye. Listening to his later words, and with the effort of processing them, made her head throb even harder, but she was gritting her teeth and keeping her head on the - conversation, one side hostile, one side seemingly oblivious. "Us idiots? That is no way to talk about the inhabitants of this place, y'know. Strangely enough, I've never heard of this place. All I know is that there are four packs in the Salvajes. I guess you've been receiving visitors from all four of them. Are you Ho-ho-what'sit a new pack, or something?" Hope you aren't staying for too long, if you're not. Wouldn't want to keep you from the hole you call home in this place with us idiots, know? It was rare that Dora get into a fairly bad mood this quickly, but with the headache its speed was accelerated tenfold. Her words were said politely, but offered coldly, far colder than she'd been since coming into the Salvajes. Anger was a comforting warmth underneath her pelt, settling her more vividly onto her frame. This post has been edited by Isadora on Nov. 07, 2006 - 3:44am

Sorry this is crappy quality. It's getting late and has been a long day. :/
"You all keep saying that like it means a damn thing." It might have been temporarily amusing, at least, had the situation not been so tediously aggravating, the way in which each of these wolves would suddenly trip apologises off their tongue the second they where caught out at their game. It didn't mean anything and Hawkspur was quite aware the only reason he was hearing such a lame excuse was so that he'd suddenly change his mind and go skipping with them through the meadow grasses—you know, all that sweetness and light crap—except it wasn't exactly washing with the Ahtono'e, as Tiamat and a few others quickly found out.
The next thing to come out of her mouth made his brow quirk independently, arching high on his handsome features in the epitome of disbelief. How could he not think they where idiots… and she was to become more of one in his mind by saying half of this rubbish, when it was quite plain to see she didn't have the slightest clue what she was waffling about. "Well, my Tribe has apparently been the talk of your valley, so honestly, I find that hard to believe." A pause, "And no, we're not new."

Isadora shrugged at his first comment. Hard-spoken words didn't really affect her much. She was an indifferent being that way, able to live without word of other mouths, though that was somewhat detestable to even her. But she had to admit, company made the days to her inevitable demise interesting. Listening to him snap at her that they were the current celebrities of the Valley and that they were not new, Isadora raised a brow, but let it go down. “Well, excuse me for not knowing about you Ho-whatsits. I apologise once again for being (barely even now, but she conveniently left that part out) new to the Valley and the like.” Her voice was toneless, polite, but crisp, despite the marring of the otherwise appropriate sentence produced by the ‘Ho-whatsits’ part.
“Then, I suppose you're ancient, if you're not new.” Her brow cocked once more, green eyes glinting coldly, putting her best glassy expression on. It was more of a thoughtful remark than anything else; but, yes, the fact that there were only supposed to be four - hmm, since he had referred to his “pack” as a “tribe” - groups of wolves in the Salvajes, and now there were five. She was confused. Perhaps they were looking for something, or... merely passing through? The way this male made it sound, it seemed as if their residency here in the Salvajes was less permeable than it appeared.

"Then, I suppose you're ancient, if you're not new." His cinnamon-sprinkled brows arched high above the glass of his eyes and the boys distasteful appearance transferred to a more snide type of expressionl. His bottled-brush plume lifted up above the genial curve of his darkly coloured back and flicked with a hint of venom back and forth. "Was that meant to be funny?" Came the shot back response, indicating his growing annoyance at her presence here and getting equally as tired of it fast. But, whilst she was here, annoying the hell out of him like a tic on his ear, he might as well try and learn something so it wasn't such a total waste of his precious time.
Hawkspur cleared his throat, arching his spinal column into a poised sit and not so comfortable sitting position. His very body language was making it crystal clear that she shouldn't expect to stick around for much longer, because there were much better ways in which he could be wasting his time: like being shot down by Zyanya and fighting with Rowtag, for example. "Now which one of those pathetic excuses you lot call packs—and I do use that term loosely—are you from?"

(Sorry for the wait, annddd... Haha. Thanks for the thread. This was certainly different from the others I've had. <3 You can post one more time, if you'd like. ^^)
"Not in particular," Isadora replied calmly, and she felt a little embarrassed at stirring things up. The warm fuzz that anger had brought and her feeling a little less suffocated faded away, leaving her with an agitated wolf and an aching head. Oh, she was extremely lucky, and now irritated that he'd insult her pack just to get at her. "I'd rather you insult me than my pack - Silver Creek." Still, she gave him the answer. She cooled down fast, and was feeling, now, merely under the weather. And wanting a nap.
Her brow would have creased had it not been her willing it to stay calm and smooth. Why was she here again? Her gaze focused on the hostile tribe-wolf. "But I take it that you have a reason for living next-door to pathetic excuses, then. As such, I will leave you ponder how to deal with it. I hope you find your reason soon, and leave as quickly." It was unclear whether the last part was meant in contempt or sincere sympathy for them. Her voice was toneless, and her eyes seemed dead, having lost their brightness. She blinked thrice before dipping her head at the other wolf (out of habit rather than courtesy), narrowing them as she turned. Her vision was getting clearer, more sharp, but she didn't care anymore. Her walk was more of a lope. It wouldn't be clear to the other wolf, but her bad temper had been produced by her lack of control of emotions brought on by the headache, and Isadora silently cursed the chance she had missed to learn something about the Ho-whatsit wolves.
