The creek wolf was back inside the borders of Nova Mountain in spite of the large black male and his superficial warnings. A long trail of prints led up to where the black male had met the other male earlier, and he was quite surprised not to find his dear friend. The sinister male snickered at the thought, tail flicking aggressively. Calico walked with his head lowered protectively. His nose skimmed the ground, trying to decipher whether or not his health should be a concern. And yet, the massive wolf was seduced by aggression and the irresistible invitation to a good scrap.
Somewhere off in the distance an animal stepped on a twig, and the inevitable crack whispered into the colorful male’s rimmed ears. His head snapped up, listeners pivoting on his crown. A healthy rumble started in his chest. Rolling up his chords, a low growl filtered through his lips. Long fibers on his back and nape began to rise. Obviously threatened, Calico turned and trotted slowly back towards the border, the pitch in his growl broke with every bouncing stride.
He’d only made it fifty yards or so before he stopped and gaze in the direction of the broken twig, pumpkin eyes debating. It must have been curiosity’s finest hour. White paws retraced his fleeing steps and he continued his extended adventure. All senses focused on his perimeter.

Anyone could have heard the sound of the loud crack that was echoed. It could have been a rabbit or orther animal, or it could have been a trespasser, or a Mountainer. Amy had no idea, but it still awoke her. The crack might have been louder, on account of her enhanced hearing, or it could have been that loud to anyone. But none of that mattered, she needed to investigate.
Amy liked to leave teh border patrol to Bronx, or someone else, because she didn't like telling others to leave. To her, it was like saying "we don't welcome you, go away." Course they could just ask to come over, but what if the individual Novian said no. That was no fun now was it? But do to the problems arising in the Dreek and Nova Mountain, Amy felt the need to check it out; just in case Bronx was around to punish her for not taking care of it.
As she followed the smell of the visitor, and the sound of the crack, she noticed something. He was in Silver Creek. Oh how wonderful. Now she did have to turn him away; or maybe just make up and excuse to let him over. Hey. She alled to him, once she guessed she was close enough. Her blinded eyes stared straight through him, unaware of how to react to this problem. Give me a reason. Any will do, and I won't report you to Sphinx; or Sinistra. That sounded formal enough right? Yeah, if anyone was watching, it sounded like she cared he was there. When, she really could care less.

If only formalities mattered to the large male. As it were, the twig snapping incident had also nabbed the attention of a mountain wolf, who, upon inspecting the sound, also found Calico. Lifting his maw before the female had made her formal approach, nostrils flared as he inhaled her scent. The edge of this encounter was taken of by the difference in genders, adding to the obvious margin in size. She was a pretty little thing and the social aspect of the meeting was, up until she spoke, promising. The colorful wolf spared no expense in playing along.
He smiled, almost kindly, his devious mind working out all the knots in his theory. “That won’t be necessary,” he insisted in his usual rough voice, though it was tainted with alarming amounts of a fabricated friendliness. He suddenly realized how this might look to her peers, especially if Calico’s former greeter happened upon the scene. Chances were he’d get jumped, and if he didn’t get slaughtered, he’d escape with enough life to crawl back to silver creek and nothing more. But the black and white lived for the moment; lips pulled back in a toothy grin.
For a moment he was lost in thought, trying to come up with a decent reason to have visited Nova Mountain. Nothing came. “The big wolf said I couldn’t stay, so I left,” he started, pumpkin eyes glinting mischievously while he watched her from the corner of his vision. Calico’s voice carried sarcasms sweet symphony. He continued; “now I’m back.” It was a matter of fact point that he made with a brief nod of his muzzle. His brow quirked curiously.

The male didn't seem to be complying with her simple request. All she want as reason, made up or not, why he was here, then they both could be on their way. Well he just had to spring herinterest with this "big wolf." Who told you to leave? She asked nicely. All she wanted, and hoped for, was a quick response as to who it was. If this male had any sense, he would just answer.
Amy go the feeling he wasn;t here for a stroll. His "aura" gave off a feel of hostility; almost like he was here to provoke something. Amy shook the feeling off, since Creekers were nice. He was a Creeker therefore he had to have a motive for all the hostlity and rash attitiude. Why even Mark was a Creeker and he was mean, but she knew he had a good reason for it. So this unnamed Creeker probably had a reason too. And Amy intended to find out what it was.

And now his curiosity sparked and he pranced a few steps in place, shifting his paws quickly on the ground. She wasn’t like the big bad wolf; she didn’t seem to care that Calico was on her pack’s territory. Her question fueled the fire. If the roles were reversed, he’d have been at her throat in an instant for returning to the pack after being escorted to the border. But some wolves were nicer than others; it was all psychological. In a man’s world he’d have been locked up behind bars for murder, but his only friend wouldn’t have been killed for bearing his children, ultimately leading to blind savagery.
“He was ebony,” the large wolf commented, a smirk playing on his lips. On the outside she appeared so gullible, but he didn’t trust her -- she could very well be dealing him into the same game. The lingering thought of the black wolf stirred Calico’s temper and he held back a shallow growl while standing nearby the lady. “I’ll just continue on my way,” he concluded, long stride carrying him past her within close proximity. It would have been easy to strike at her and make her bleed, but torturing her conscious sounded much more inviting.

Ebony huh. Well the only wolf she knew of that was ebony was Bronx. There was pobably others taht color too, but he had actually told her what he looked like; and it was understandable, Bronx chases everything off. Why did he ask you to leave? She felt like and interogater. Asking questions to which his answers meant life or death.
Amy wasn't stupid; maybe a little oblivious or bad at judgement, but not stupid. When this wolf decided to get on going in teh borders, with no reason, she started to change her mind about him. I'm not done with you yet. She said in a stern voice. He had no right too just assume she was done. You get your ass over here and tell me what your plan is. Why are you in Nova Mountain? Man it was true, Sphinx lets in the worst kinda characters now a days. Show an example for your pack and comply with what little I ask.

Perhaps it was the time of day or maybe the way the snow crunched under his ivory paws that put the creek male in a rather light-hearted, almost giddy mood. Sure, the brute was usually out for a good scrap, but he was not the foolish bastard that the general public had labeled him. Calico did have some dignity tucked into the side pocket of his soul. Oh, but it didn’t matter now. Three steps away from the lady, she called him back and he turned without question like a child to his mother. “My, my, my…” he trailed off, a crooked grin dancing on his maw, truly impressed with her hostility. But his façade shifted dramatically when she dared to use his pack against him.
For a moment, the silence that lingered was suffocating. Calico shifted his weight and a light growl formed in his throat, though it was stuck in his airway and he almost coughed in response. “Do us both a favor and leave silver creek out of it,” he warned, salmon tongue snaking from his cavern to caress his lips. “I’m here because I’m curious, but mostly to defy the big black wolf that chased me off before,” he paused, eyes narrowing at the female while he clamped his jaws shut, grinding his teeth. “But I see that is going to be difficult now that you have crossed my path,” the black and white finished dangerously low in tone, tail flicking aggressively.
Soon it would be time for him to go, he could hear the dinner bell chiming from the creek lands.

This bozo was dodging her question. Why did Bronx ask him to leave in the first place? Bronx was one to have a reason for things, and Calico had to have given him one. This idiot was actually getting on her last nerve, strangely enough. You can be curious with cooperation. I only had the intent of getting a reason from you, to let you go through. BUt it seems you would rather piss around the bush. Amy's attitude was changed; she was actually growling at another wolf. She was actually yelling at them!
The blinded novian onlywished she could see this male; to be able to descirbe him to Sinistra or Bronx, so they could know she was actually trying to help out. The Creek, in her mind, was a great place with great members. But this member here had he actually questioning Sphinx's leadership; which was something she would never do. What is it you are curious about? is it what is inside our borders? Well go make yourself a Novian friend, if that is possible, and ask them to invite you in. She had no idea where he was; since she couldn't see him. But she nodded to the direction of the borders. Telling him to get the fuck out. Go make that friend, and come back when you do. Get the fuck off our lands.

“How ‘bout on the bush?” the burly male queried, his sinister tone thick with sarcasm. He wasn’t impressed by her anymore. Her yelling voice made his fur stand, but he’d only just realized that it didn’t matter how aggressive he appeared -- she couldn’t see him in the least bit. One ear pivoting back, he pondered how easy it might be to slip past and continue on his merry way into the Novian territory, but the nagging thought of the big black finding him again put things into a whole new perspective. It would be a bloody mess and Calico wasn’t interested in a fight with any of the mountain maggots. His stay at the creek was already in jeopardy, no need to further aggravate his superiors; though, with a crooked grin, he chuckled at the thought of what they might have to say.
His chuckle couldn’t have been more perfectly timed; “I wouldn’t join your infestation if I were on my last limb, let alone when I’m healthy,” Calico hissed, insulted that she would even consider such a possibility! A snarl rumbled in his chest. And she told him to fuck off. His initial thought was to retaliate and just trot deeper into the territory -- she was blind after all. Besides, if she chose to confront him on physical terms, he was with no doubt that she could be easily defeated; though he was sure he wouldn’t leave unharmed. But he could not create any further aggravation, thus decided that the better idea was to disappear promptly. Again his growl was broken by quick steps carrying him dangerously close to the lady. He made sure she knew he was leaving; a little piece of his once happy heart told him that she’d sleep better at night.

His sarcasm was something she did not want to hear right now. He may be bigger, so she assumed, and tougher, and have sight but Amy was not about to let him through on these terms. He had gone an upset a blind female; now she was about to throw out an ass whooping. You better hope that bush cuts your manhood off; before I do. A snarl formed accross her face. She couldn't see him, but he was near.
If he even thought about getting across her, he better be sure he packed osme bandaids. I know I can't take you, but if I have to, I'm sure Bronx can. She stepped closer in, her guestimate, his direction. I'm sure he'd love to deal with scum like you. Though, bringing in Bronx might seem cowardly to this Creeker; but who cares, she'd rather hear him get beat into a pulp than it done to her. I'll give you till the count of 2 to get the fuck off our land. She barked sharply.

It was fun role playing with you, I'll wait for your reply then have it archived.

Calico’s expression looked almost defeated as he walked off. Had she been able to see, she would have known that before she smarted off, or rather dummied off with a, to say the least, distressing idea for an insult. Dark rimmed ears perked and his skull shook from side to side, an amused chuckle ringing in his ears only. He studied a small rock in the dirt, admired the soft edges and pleasing colors; perhaps if he were a collector he would have taken it somewhere different to add to is assortment. Instead he numbly placed a heavy paw on it, covering it from her absent sight. “I’m sure he would,” Calico agreed, voice unusually mellow.
She spoke again and like a ticking bomb run out of time he exploded. “Don’t!” he snarled, turning and rushing into her personal bubble in a single, swift motion. “Don’t threaten me,” he insisted, a bit more lenient on his aggression. “You said it yourself, you are beaten, why aggravate me further?” he queried, though he had no real interest in learning the answer. Calico sighed heavily and turned away, hostility still lingering in the air, “I’m goin’ now.” Trotting off, the creek male put his mind on more important matters like finding an unlucky hare. Nothing like food to get his mind of the ass kicking he was going to receive on a later date from the not-so-pleased enforcers of his pack.

Well, now that that nightmare was over with, Amy was about ready to go find Bronx; right away. Why, even mentioning bringing Bronx into it made the troublemaker very nervous. Well, Amy got th impression he was nervous. Anyways, the trouble maker, after some "Don't do that" and "Don't pesture me"'s, was gone. Really, Amy was proud of herself for getting rid of the idiot. Of course there was still that chance he just tricked her to think he was gone. Yes, she had to be careful.
The female stayed in the same place for several minutes before actually moving. She wanted to listen to everything and make sure he was gone for good. Though, she knew he'd attempt to come back; that is if she doesn't tell Bronx right away. When she was satisfied with his departure, the blinded female rushed to find Bronx as soon as she possibly could, or a Silver Creek leader.
