I'd love to have a Ho'nehe wolf in here, but I understand everyones asking that, so I'm not going to beg and plead. ^^ *Offers candy though?* Heh, just kidding. So anyone who's willing to discuss whats going on and ponder things is welcome, because I need BWP threads. Badly. Oo.

He’d started off early this morning with the intentions to get a decent meal, but that had been high hopes at the best. His ankle, still hurting him after he had broken it a few weeks ago wasn’t letting him succeed. And the snowstorm that had blown in the last hour hadn’t helped in the least either.

Limping, the Zayin trudged through the layer of snow that was snug against the ground, hopping miserably, and cringing when the paw that was tucked to his chest brushed the icy layer and rung out a sharp protest in the form of pain. He’d never broken a single bone before, let alone ever injured himself this bad. And he was finding out a broken ankle wasn’t just a little deal. It was big. Especially in winter.

He couldn’t get anywhere fast, and because of that hunting was made horribly tough. The past week, thanks to the snow and growing cold, he’d gotten his meals from scraps. Rabbits who had gotten caught somehow in the snow or tangled in the brush only to freeze. Or had been left behind by some other predator. He’d been extremely lucky in one case by White Rose Lake, finding a doe who must have stepped two far out on the ice only to fall in and not quite be able to clamber out at the shore. It had been a cold meal, and not to mention a little wet, but it had been food.

Now, stuck in this storm, he kept his head ducked low and his paw ducked high, trudging on as best he could and looking for some kind of decent shelter where he could rest. The hopping had taken a lot of his energy. Peering up once, for a moment he’d thought he had found the perfect refuge, but then quickly Element realized what he was looking at. A familiar tunnel. One he’d been by once before. The entrance to the new pack lands. The Ho’nehe.

He hadn’t realized he was so close. The shelter of the tunnel was more than inviting, but he dared not go closer. He’d accidentally trespassed once, and he wasn’t keen on doing it again. Not at all. So standing, shaking, the Zayin could only wait. And maybe hope.

*humps le jenn* :]

His mind was absolutely blaring, he couldn't hear anything. It was only his mind that kept telling him all these random thoughts that he'd gotten since arriving. The fact that he was a fairly unknown guy in the valley. No one really knew him, no one knew just what a sensible guy he was. He had no best friends that he could've counted off from the very start and he hated not being able to have a best friend to tell everything to. He was at a loss for words and he needed to comfort himself. So, he'd walked a bit of a far ways away from the Silver Creek lands, and decided to walk around nova mountain territory — after learning about their pack feuds, he'd decided it was best to stay as clear away from nova mountain as he could. But at the moment, he felt like he was in nova mountain because it was giving him chills that he didn't belong here.

But voice came to mind, as he felt an unfamiliar scent came towards where he sat. He'd been watching the hole for a few hours, afraid of what it had. It was a bit dark, so he'd been afraid to go anywhere near it. So, with a bit of unease he pulled himself out of the shadows of the trees and looked at the other black male. "It 'tis a tad bi' scary, tha' tunnel…" he said, as he lowered his head in respect for the male whom he'd never met before. He was being a common gentleman to him, just to try and help. But before he could say much else, Amerigo stared blankly at the males paws. " 're ya okay dere?" Amerigo asked, his eyes plainly staring at the paw in which the shadow male was holding so closely to himself. Amerigo was a guy that cared about everyone that he met up with and tried to be as nice as could be to anyone he was just meeting. But even this, he had to help out.

He began to walk closer, though very slowly. He was fairly scared that the male could indeed hurt him. Though he wasn't very understanding at the fact that the shadow male probably couldn't take him on, seeing that he had a broken paw. But Amerigo saw it differently. He believed himself to be weak and vulnerable to anyone, probably even a small puppy. "Why 're ya so far 'way from duh moun'?" he asked, his light purple eyes still a bit scared that Element could indeed throw a decent fight his way. Amerigo was trying to be a nice guy, so hopefully Element wouldn't try to hurt him at all. "Ah'm Amer'go 'r Ace as some call m' for shor'…" he said, as he looked at the opposing black male, "wha' is ya name?"

Hope you don't mind me stepping in. =)

Since the departures of many of the tribal members due to not wishing to be in conflict with the strangers outside the tunnel, she had been more than a bit wary of the outsiders who were definitely greater in number now compared to the small handful of the Ho’nehe who stayed behind. She had been torn between the two sides, unsure of the right and wrong of what had transpired. She had met young Chogan with Cochise before and Sakari had been curious as to the naming of the young pup whose name held the meaning of ‘blackbird’. It hadn’t occurred to either one of the wolves that the male would eventually turn out to be their Me’ko. If they had known then, would the two females have done the same thing as Zyanya had, requesting the leader to return with them back to their ancestral grounds to lead the tribe?

She might not have done it so rashly, but the general idea might have been along the same lines. Shaking her head, she was saddened to discover that others left with such a strong mindset of not being involved in warfare that they’d rather head back, mission unaccomplished. Sakari did not wish to fight, yet she, as the Tsehata’a, simply could not abandon the others and leave them behind to fare on their own. Thus, she stayed, feeling even more alone than ever before.

The sight of two males had brought her to high alert, wondering just why they were standing there. Did they plan to sneak in and watch the dwindling numbers of the tribe or had they already brought others to gang up on the Ho’nehe? As wary as she might be, it wouldn’t do any good to hide behind shadows forever. Thus, she stepped out and barked out sharply an inquiry. ”What business do you have here?” It was directed at both individuals.

Sorry for the delay.

Out of no where came someone else’s voice, and the Zayin’s head snapped around to meet the gaze of another male. For a moment he stared blankly, and then a low sigh of relief fell from him. It wasn’t one of the Ho’nehe wolves. Offering a faint smile he nodded, casting a shrug along with the motion as he did so. “Ah, I guess it can be. I’m not planning on heading through. I’m just stopped for a rest.” Did the other male know about the pack lands beyond? The borders that had been unknowingly stepped across one to many times.

Instead, that notion was wiped away as the black male mentioned Element’s injured paw. “Oh,” he said simply, his gave deflected downward momentarily to the injured limb. “I hurt it a while back, I’m fine though. Thanks for asking.” Looking back up, Element surveyed the individual as he spoke. His accent, or tone, or whichever it may have been was unique, and one of the more striking features that stood out had to be the guy’s eyes. Purple wasn’t a common color. “I was just taking a walk. You?” The wind pulsing gently obstructed some of his smell, but faint was the scent of Silver Creek. “I’m Element, nice to meet you.”

He would have been perfectly content with that… a simple greeting, a little chit chat, but no. Ears perking, approaching footsteps warned him of another presence. Turning yet again, the two males were greeted with a less than happy individual. Element’s ears flicked uncertainly at the words – he remembered this wolf from before – and his head dipped a few degrees in an apologetic manner. “I was just resting. Passing by and needed to take a quick break.” His ears flicked again, and he looked ahead uncertainly. “I wasn’t trespassing, and I don’t have any intention too either. Not here to be annoying.”

Tha's understan'ble…” Amerigo answered, looking at the black male with enthusiasm and wondering why was he here? Why had Amerigo come out here? He had no reason to come this far out of Silver Creek? His own paws had carried him here, so why did he feel so guilty about this? Why was he trapped between what was right and what was wrong? He didn't know why he'd come, he shouldn't even be here. Grinning only slightly, he pulled himself closer only a bit to the male, hoping to get a better view of the Mount-beast.
He said he'd hurt it a while back, but it seemed to him like it still hurt him. Perhaps there was more to the injury that Element would've rathered not speak of. Oh… what was he doing? “Ah'm nah sure wha' ah was doin' act'ally… ah kinda stumbled 'ere ah guess,” he answered, looking around. But in that moment, he wished he hadn't. A wolf, fairly large compared to himself, was standing there just watching the two. Amerigo froze in a place and took in a deep inhale. “We're nah doin' anythin' sir… we're jus' passin' through…” Amerigo mumbled, almost afraid that this beast would unleash some kick-ass on his butt.

Sakari? I know your super busy and all, and with Taka too... which is why I was hoping I could put a little bit of PP in here and move the thread along... because I'd like to finish up a lot of my old threads and get back into action a bit. My BWP3 ones are dragging me behind a little, heh. I need to finish this for my last one though. =/ I really really really hope you don't mind. >.<

Element wasn’t sure of the Ho’nehe wolf’s name – but he knew he had met the individual before. On his second ‘venture’ into the lands. Where he’d actually learned there were indeed not ghosts or haunting’s or any other silly things, but a real tribe. Whoops.

Needless to say, that meeting hadn’t gone that well. Now here he was again, but this time Element wasn’t doing a thing. Why then, did he feel guilty? Gnawing his lip slightly, the Zayin regarded the tribe female with a watchful eye as she inspected the two, said a few words, and left. As he watched her tawny side disappear back into the nearby tunnel, a sigh of relief escaped his mouth as it opened. A spiral of mist from his breath clouded the cold air. “That was… well, not as bad as it could have been.” His gaze shifted to Amerigo, a faint smile playing across his face while the worry still danced in his eyes.

“Have you met any of the Ho’nehe before?” Element questioned after, settling down in the snow to rest his weary leg. Amerigo he had never seen around before, and the scent of the fellow wasn’t yet strongly oriented with that of his pack – meaning, yes, he had to be new. “We had a whole big ordeal strike a little while back… not sure if you got to hear all the pleasantries.”
