For Hawkspur - let the fun begin ;)
In character
The news had just reached his ears, it pleased him, but was it too good to be true. Had the tribe wolves really moved on? He had to check for himself, just to make sure. For Fawns sake, for his whole family. He stopped at the Hó'nehe-htso'e borders and causiously sniffed the air. If they were indeed still here he could be in alot of trouble going into their land, especially seeing as he was alone. Not only would he be outnumbered but he'd be in a huge amount of trouble with his Alpha, Quiksilver. That certainly was aplace he didn't want to be, in her bad books or Green's for that matter.
The land still smelled faintly of the tribe, but it was a fading scent, if they would have been here it would have been much stronger. He stepped over the borders and stood for a while. Nothing yet, so he started to venture further in, sniffing the ground as he went. The land was increadibly silent and had that whole deserted air to it. When he was quite far in he sniffed the air once more. Satisfied with the lands emptiness, he started to make his way back to the borders, a smile across his maw.

Curled in the inevitable stone of a corrupted heart was a string that had snapped and wound around the others as if trying vainly to cling to its order in the natural rhythm of such things. Times changed, seasons bled into one another until the one prior became a distant memory and things came and went with as much regularity as the tides. For him, for the Hó'nehe, their tide had long swept out into the vast oceans of life and left was a broken shell of what they'd stood proudly for, for his entire lifetime. The whole mission, the whole reason for their existence had been stripped away like it was nothing simply because they hadn't the power to change a decision, to mould an impressionable mind to their way of thinking. And as he stood in the empty shell of things, memories echoing off the imposing rocky faces, he wondered in the solitude of his thoughts what had become of them. His love, Zyanya, his sister, Olathe… hell, even Rowtag crossed his mind on occasion. And as unexpected as it appeared, Hawkspur Neve'heth missed them and he missed the late Cochise.
Like wraiths on the winds of time, the crystalline surface of the snow became a host to swirling memories, borne with glitter and sparkles with a vividness that made him feel that it was there for the touching. Seated in his chilly seat in the theatre rows he remembered the times he and the ebony female shared as if they where happening all over again and a lump rose to the rear of his throat. But as time bled into itself and ticked along its mortal coil absorbed, it would be a saving grace that the defiant crunches of the movements of another distracted the boy, as these scenes had started tumbling quickly toward a definitive end that he had no desire to witness all over again. Twisting his muzzle toward the sounds with his nares eagerly stealing the musky scent from the wind, ears pressing forward alertly, the former Tribe male found a familiar feeling rising up into the caverns of his chest. In fact, as he raised the plush of his fluffy butt and shed the comforting coat of nostalgia, he felt the preen of his hackles rippling with that familiar apprehension and a gruff growl rising to his throat. Peddling through the snows layers on his stocky limbs, the trespasser (and a smug one at that!) came into full view and Hawkspur couldn't reign himself in from barking: "Oh, so it's another one who fancies himself as a heroic ghost hunter." Because some things just never would change.

He started to walk towards the borders, listening to the snow crunching under his paws. After a few steps he'd got into a sequence of sorts and was enjoying listening to his paws padding along to his little beat. Then he heard a different sequence, faster, harsher. He stopped walking as it grew louder, it was a running wolf. Smoke had few seconds to sniff the air before the speeding wolf was on top of him, but he knew who it was before they arrived. "Oh, so it's another one who fancies himself as a heroic ghost hunter." The wolf barked at him. "Hawkspur" Smoke growled at him. He lowered into a defensive pose against the wolf. Smoke couldn't help but catch the males scent. He had Mount Shadow all over him. He had the smell of Smoke's former pack all over him.
"So you're running with Mount Shadow now then eh? Standards must have slipped when I left. Oni only accepted decent, honest, mentally stable wolves when I ran with them, no matter though." He licked his teeth with his tongue still holding his defensive pose. "And I wouldn't say I was a ghost hunser Hawkspur, we both know you're no ghost. Waste removal, now that had a nice ring to it don't you think?" He growled at the male in some form of stand off. "Speaking of waste removal, wheres that 'tribe' of your's hmmm? Gone? Such a shame, Chogan and Taigi miss them so much." He jibed sarcastically. He smirked, guesing the pack had left due to the threat from the fields. The better pack had won.

Sorry for the delay. I had no idea what to say back to Smoke. oO;
The slate hued wolf, who was equally peppered with white, turned and growled out his name almost as if he'd planned Hawkspur appearing all along. However, whereas the aptly named Smoke would lower his bestial form into a defensive posture, the (unfortunate) Mount Shadow lad would tighten up the sinew of his body, stand a little higher in his stature and roll his eyes with an exasperated sigh. They said when strangers knew your name, it was undoubted fame, but honestly this was getting too much. "Does every one of you pansies know my frickin' name?" He growled back, just in time to be unprepared for this wolf's rendition of "I know what you did, so I'm going to shoot my mouth off about it at you." It was a shame that no wolf had yet to die of boredom because the amount of times this exact thing had happened to him, he'd put his next meal on the line to say he'd most definitely be the first. If there was a god he'd be anyway.
Apparently though, Hawkspur was just lucky enough to have lived through that whole thing, including the sarcastic jibes, and finally it come to an end. The edges of his lips nipped upward into a deviant smile and his chest heaved out in the intake of precious air. Those bi-toned eyes, intense in their mocking glare, narrowed on Smoke as in a perfect imitation with sarcasm breeding at its source he quipped back, shaking his head side to side all the while for emphasis. "I'm a waste of space, blah-blah, I should leave and die, blah-blah, my tribe is a bunch of spineless pansies. BLAH, BLAH." Then Hawkspur leaned in a little closer, but still far enough so a well-timed snap from Smoke couldn't graze the front of his muzzle with its cutlery, looking him right in the eye with all natural arrogance sweeping across his stocky form effortlessly. He just didn't give a crap. "Say, have you got a new line brewing up in there, Barbie? Because everything you've just said, I've heard a thousand times before and it wasn't exactly enjoyable the first time around. And it certainly isn't now. Unless you've got something decently original to say or you actually know the first thing about me or where actually around when I did it, I'd say you'd better shut your fat mouth before I feel the urge to stick a big fat rock in it. And hell, it'd be a vast improvement, I'm sure everyone will agree."

Hawkspur sighed at Smoke. He 'd obviously had plenty of Strawberries on at him. I'f the moon coloured brute had been paying more attention to the males sigh he might have smirked. "Does every one of you pansies know my frickin' name?" This however Smoke smirked at. "Your just so damned popular fella. Every Strawberry just wants to roll out the red carpet just for you." He smiled at Hawkspur, raising an eyebrow in succession.
Hawkspur plastered a look on his face that was just as sarcastic as Smokes and dramatically answered him back. "I'm a waste of space, blah-blah, I should leave and die, blah-blah, my tribe is a bunch of spineless pansies. BLAH, BLAH." The males smile faded as Hawkspur leaned closer in to him and spoke again. This time there was no sarcastic tone to his voice. He was being deadly serious.
Smoke leaned in even closer to the Shin so his maw was just brushing the inside of his ear and whispered, "So you're looking for a new twist in an old snake, so to speak. How about this, the female you and your lot damaged is my cousin, Fawn." Smoke licked his lips and pulled away from Hawkspur looking him in his bi coloured eyes. His voice returning to normal volume. "Not original enough? Okay, how about this then?" Smoke leaned in once more, his wet nose once again just touching the inside of the males ear. And once again he whispered, "Snap" Then he snapped his jaws out hoping to bite into Hawkspur's ear.

The stinging warmth of Smoke's exhales began to stroke the hardy leather of Hawkspur's muzzle tip as the other male leaned impossibly close. His trademark smirk, the one that most would like to wipe off his face, furrowed the lines of the side of his mouth and the mismatch of his eyes glimmered with an odd satisfaction that had yet to be explained. Every part of him began to hum; twitch and tense with anticipation of what Smoke might have the stones to do, hackles lifting and bristling in the waving beat that mirrored the continued rise and fall of his speckled flanks. Then the Berry pulled away and with him he pulled the scrutinising gaze of Hawkspur Neve'heth, who by his very nature knew that his smoky companion wasn't going to leave it like that. And oh, Smoke soon swooped in again, but this time (was this the new twist part?) pressed the moist surface of his button into the sensitive area of Hawkspur's ear. A rollercoaster of sick shivers rippled down his spine and sent his tail sweeping back and fourth in an eerily pendulum wag, tugged his deviant little grin wider as a tilt of his head sent that cold tip further into his ear and heightening that sense of pleasure.
"Snap," was whispered in hushed husky tones amongst the sensitive bristles of his hearing and the Shadow boy chuckled deep in the thick of his throat as Smoke pulled back to snap those daggers around his velvet-laced ear. The Shin had anticipated that that was where the Berry had wanted to be all along, deepening the tear that Lamb had already given him, and although he was clearly enjoying the fact that pain was now spidering down the lengths of that ear and the heavy metallic taint of his own blood stung the flare of his nostrils, it was a small price to pay to get where he needed to be.
He jerked his head at an angled fraction downward, causing that part of his ear to complain vastly amongst the barbs of teeth and fragment along the seams just that little bit more. However, just that painful action got him in the perfect position. Smoke's crafty little manoeuvre had pulled his smoky muzzle up and out, unfurling his jaw-line from around a vulnerable jugular, exposing it. And the male, cracking his cinnamon flecked jaws open, wasted no time in exploiting such an opportunity and struck immediately inward, hoping to catch the flesh of Smoke's cocky little throat betwixt his expectant teeth.

Short, but kinda eventful ;)
In Character
Smoke felt his teeth dig into Hawkspur's flesh, the male obviously hadn't been quick enough. His lips curled up into a smile has he held on to the traitors ear. Then the male made an even bigger mistake, he tipped his head downwards making his ear hooked on Smoke's teeth. Smoke closed his top jaw over Hawk's bloody flesh and felt it channel down the tip of his ear into his own throat. Victory tasted good, but finally Smoke had enough. The filth had his warning, now it was up to him.
The smile on his maw faded as he prepared to let go of his enemy. Before he could he felt teeth puncture the folds of skin on his neck and airway tightened up. He released Hawk's ear and tried breathing through his nose, but to no avail. Air couldn't pass through his throat into his lungs. He felt his lungs starting to struggle and scream for air. Rearing up on his hind paws, he shook his neack violently, hoping to throw his attacker from his throat. His grey eyes widened and he felt his pelt pull on his chest as his blood matted into it. Smoke was now fighting to survive.

I PPed a little at the end. If you mind, just let me know and I'll gladly edit it out. :) And I was going to have him leave in this post, but I decided to have Hawk leave in the next one, so this thread can count toward an energy stone. :)
He felt the connection of bladed teeth on warm flesh only moments after his jaws had cracked apart for that very job and instantly they sank aside the other male's throat. Almost on an instant, as the blood started to trickle across his tongue, and eventually bled down the back of his throat, the pulsing of his throat, of the other's heart even, could be felt thrumming erratically amongst the fine hairs of his creamy muzzle. The release of his ear was imminent and the second he felt those tearing edges freed, Hawk flicked it back against his nape violently, spraying his own blood across his speckled flanks and to splatter artfully across the otherwise pristine snow. He would have loved to have seen the look of terrorised realisation dawn in Smoke's eyes the second he realised what was happening, but sadly the angle prevented the roll of his bi-toned eyes from seeing anything beyond a jutting cheek. Nevertheless, the fact that this was happening and that he could taste the metallic sting of blood was ecstasy enough for the Neve'heth lad to get off on and the soft glimmerings of a twisted chuckle could be felt reverberating in the depths of his throat.
Smoke's survival instant was beginning to kick in and as his chest choked a heave to knock against Hawk's powerful forelegs, the upperhand male could tell from the pressured constriction of the Berry's neck muzzles that he was going to rear. The very design of his plan had not been to kill Smoke in the first place and he didn't intend to now either. Despite the fact that the former Hó'nehe thought he was a right idiot for getting up in his face, and that alone was something Smoke was paying for now, he had no personal quarrel with the lad — although that would probably be assured after this meeting. As the forefront of Smoke's body began to lift in a hefty rear, Hawkspur did so do to, finding it a little difficult to unhitch his jaws from around the other and fighting valiantly the potent desire to pressure down and end this once and for all.
The violent struggles of Smoke's neck only increased Hawkspur's difficulty and he found himself thinking that this boy wanted to find himself walking the nether plains. Then again, when another wolf had their jaws clamped around your throat in what you could only assume was a death grip; it was probably difficult not to let that red haze descend across your eyes and struggle for something that shouldn't be stolen. Nevertheless, the Shadow wolf amplified the pressure gathering around the Berry's windpipe enough to bring him down and extinguish his struggles enough to unhook his jaws from around that tender jugular. After that, his companion crashed into the chilly snow's chair, heaving for breath that suddenly flooded into achingly desperate lungs. Blood dripped from the open muzzle of Hawkspur and for a moment he stood there watching Smoke struggle for breath, before saying anything in his hissing tone of voice with that twisted grin still adorning his muzzle's lines.
"I have no personal quarrel with you, so I don't particularly want you dead. Yet. Get in my face again and it'll be a repeat of what's just happened; only I won't be so lenient on taking your life. Hopefully that will scar to permanently remind you not to be so bloody stupid around me next time. Got that pepper-spray?"

Smoke continued to kick. He didn't care where as long as he kept moving. If he kept going on like this for long enough he may just have a chance at throwing Hawkspur of his throat. After sometime though his mind started to cloud and panic set in. He wasn't jumping any more, he was just randomly bucking in the air and moving anything he could. His moved were no longer calculated ad smooth, but rough and with much thought or care. He desperatly needed to breathe, to feel air rush to his lungs. His light gray eyes started to become bloodshot and lose their unique shine, as if the light in them was fading. Then suddenly he felt his side grow clod and the world was on it's side. He felt cold air rush past his blooded teeth and into his lungs making his heart pump faster. The blood lines in his eyes recceded and he heard his attackers voice as if it were miles away.
"I have no personal quarrel with you, so I don't particularly want you dead. Yet. Get in my face again and it'll be a repeat of what's just happened; only I won't be so lenient on taking your life. Hopefully that will scar to permanently remind you not to be so bloody stupid around me next time. Got that pepper-spray?" Smoke panted and looked up at Hawkspur. He was blurred at first, but then finally his eyes adjusted and very started to come back to normal. Apart from his breathing, it was still heavily laboured. Yet somehow he managed to speak between gasps. "You know fella.......even if you......had....killed me. I'd have.....the gratitude....of knowing.....that....the fielders would kill you in....days. You'd be....a marked wolf......Hawkspur."
Smoke tried to stand, but he was still too weak, his fall had caused his blood to surge all up his belly staining it with red, sticky texture. He laughed softly at Hawkspur and let his tounge hang limply out of his maw for a few seconds before lifting his head to speak again. "In fact.....you....probably are a........marked.....wolf. Like I said......so.....damn.....popular." Smoke coughed, bringing up some more of the red liquid and splattering it with the rest of the art on the ground.

Thanks for making this thread so enjoyable! <3
The roll of Smoke's eyes was understandably lazy, more strained and it was obvious from the unfocused appearance of his pupils how difficult he was finding it to actually look at Hawkspur. His rib cage was deeply rising and falling, the sounds of air wheezing through the crack of his muzzle and nasal passages filling the air dominantly as Smoke struggled vainly for breath. Part of Hawkspur wondered if he'd die from bleeding to death or from the strain of trying to get a breath in, but then came to the conclusion that he didn't care what happened to the Berry, anyway. Out came the choking and viciously splintered retort and the Neve'heth male made his way closer, grinning and knowing full well that Smoke couldn't even touch him if he wanted to, no matter how close the gap between them was. He lowered his head so that the rough leather of his nose trailed across the blood soaked snow, till his eyes rolled closely toward Smoke's with a sardonic lock. "That's if you actually got there first," he mocked, chuckling through the ease of his airways in a taunting finale. "Besides, it will make life more interesting."
He didn't linger around much longer and as the gasping of frozen breaths began to irritate the fine silk of his ears, the boy soon span about on the tight sixpence of his heel and went away laughing triumphantly to himself, with the image of the downed and possibly dying Smoke plastered on the canvas of his inner eyelids. Oh, he'd sleep well tonight.

Hawkspur rubbed his nose along the blood soaked ground as he moved closer to Smoke. The ashen male tried to lift his head up out of the snow to take one last snap at the mount shadow pack member, but it was to no avail. All he did was crack his neck from the sharp movement, causing him yet more pain. Hawkspur leaned in closer to Smoke, knowing the freckled beast couldn't touch him. "That's if you actually got there first," Smoke tried to growl but just came out with a feeble cough instead throwing up yet more blood. "Besides, it will make life more interesting."
With that the male left and Smoke's pride and dignity followed him. He looked so pathetic lying in the snow wounded and what was worse was th fact that Smoke wasn't even injured enough to not know it. Tears ran through his fur and for a short amount of time he hadn't the will to move or get up and find help. Part of him wanted to die with some dignity. Then he saw Hawkspur in his mind, cornering Fawn and Lemon. The male groaned and lifted his frame haphazardly off the ground and put a shakey paw in front of him, followed by another and then the same one from before moved again. He was slowly dragging his way back to the fields.
